"PEOPLE!! PEOPLE!! LISTEN TO ME!!"

Chattering students all gathered in the school yard, a stage in front of them. Most of them couldn't hear their own voice over the noise of it all.

"I don't think they can hear you.."

The smaller huffed. "TB, hand me the mic." She held her hand out.

Upon her partner doing so, she snatched it out of his hand and put it up to her lips. She tapped it, causing a ring to screech through the atmosphere.

Everybody grimaced at the ear piercing noise. "AAUGHH!! WHAT THE HELL-?!" Blocky yelled.

"DUDE—I CANT HEAR ANYTHING—" A boy next to him, wearing a blue backwards cap covered his ears and squinted his eyes.

"Now that I have your attention," GB smirked, putting a hand on her hip. "For one, I'd like to remind you all that the yearly elections are in TWO WEEKS. Anybody who'd like to run, hurry up. Get your reasoning, speeches and overall plans on what you're going to do with such authority together! This is NOT a joking matter!" She stomped her foot, as the mic screeched one again.

"Does she even know how to use  microphone—"

"Oh, and one more thing!" The taller suddenly leant down, "A day before the election, there'll be another huge event!"

...

...

...

"WHICH IS...?!" Somebody yelled from the crowd.

Furrowing her brows, GB snatched the microphone back from him. "THE SPORTS FESTIVAL!! WE WILL ALSO NEED SOME HELP HANDLING SOME OF THE GAMES THAT'LL BE FEATURED IN SAID EVENT!!"

Everyone was silent. Except, for maybe, a few crickets.

"...Ahem," She cleared her throat. "I apologize for my sudden outburst. But, if you'd like to volunteer to manage the games, and maybe even food and anything else you can think of, please do. So far we've only got four people, and that is—definitely not enough."

Upon hearing some more cheerful feedback from the crowd, the short one smiled and adjusted her glasses.

"One last thing," everybody groaned.

"Skateboards are OFFICIALLY BANNED!!"

"WWHA—"

The locker door made a gentle smack as she closed it, leaning against it. "So, you been talking to Coiny again?"

"Mhm..a little." Pin replied, reaching for her book. "Him and that new kid—Firey—have been helping me be more..likeable, so that I can get elected. It's...not going very well so far, though... Little help?"

Needle reached for the book at the top of the stack, handing it to Pin. "Here."

"Thanks," She clutched it to her chest. "Thank goodness you're so tall."

Needle rolled her eyes playfully, folding her arms. "How is he? Still a sweet tooth?"

"..I wouldn't know," she smiled sheepishly. "He's still pretty nice though."

"Ahuh..He sure was stupid in middle school, though." She snickered.

"We all were," She deadpanned.

"I guess you're right.. anywho, you excited for the sports festival?'

"A little nervous but I guess, yeah. I don't know if I'll be participating in the games."

"Well, you could always help out with the game arrangements like GB said."

".. That's it—" Pin's eyes widened. "That's it! That's perfect!

"Perfect?"

"PERFECT! If I help out with the games, and make them—great enough—then everybody'll wanna elect me! They'll see how many obvious leader qualities I have! Oh, finally, finally—"

Needle stared. But eventually a smile crawled it's way onto her face, albeit a bit unsure.

"ThanksNeedle—" She snatched a cookie out of her lunchbox, shoving it in her mouth and running off.

"mPPHGFH—!!" She flinched as her eyes widened, before slowly starting to chew it.

"..Hm." A delighted hum left her mouth at the taste, holding the cookie. "Not bad."

"COINY!! COINY, I'VE GOT IT—"

"Huh—" He flinched as he heard her, choking on his chip as she turned him around by his shoulders. "I KNOW WHAT TO DO!!"

"O- Okay, okay—Calm down!!" He put his hands on her own, calming down from a practical heart attack.

...

Did she wanna be this clos—

"With the sports festival coming up, I can simply help with the games! If everybody sees how good I am at planning all that junk—Then they'll HAVE to vote for me!"

"..Hey, YEAH!! You're RIGHT!" An excited smile made it's way onto Coiny's face as he thought about it.

"UHUH!! All I have to do is go to apply!!" She quickly bursted out before running off, leaving Coiny smiling in his spot.

"Good luck!!"

Nearly stumbling over her own feet, Pin raced to look for that familiar four eye'd short stack that pretty much everybody in the school could recognize. A smile quickly made it's way onto her face as he spotted her, beginning to run quicker.

"GOOOLFFF BAAALLLL-!!"

"WHAT THE FU-"

Running towards the smaller, she tripped and fell face first in front of her. GB flinched and stumbled back in surprise.

"...Ow." She pushed herself up onto her knees, gently rubbing the bump that was starting to form on her forehead.

"Respectfully, have you lost your mind?!" GB adjusted her glasses, "Running towards people like that like a maniac! Honestly, the utter lack of composure and audac-"

"I WANNA HELP WITH THE SCHOOL FESTIVAL!!"

...

They both stared at eachother as Pin stood back up.

...

"Don't interrupt me." GB deadpanned, pushing up her glasses. "Unfortunately, I'm hesitant on that choice considering how you just approached me."

"Why is that even such a big deal!"

"It makes me wonder if you've lost a chunk of your brain, Aguda."

"Look—okay, fine. Whatever! I'm sorry! But can I please help out?"

"Maybe. Why do you wanna help out, anyway?"

"Well.. I'm sure you already know I'm running for president. And, this can finally be my chance to get people to realize what a wonderful leader I am!"

"Hm...Well, okay. You may help, but do not slack off!" GB held her hand out, "We need all the help and ideas for preparation we can get. You MUST put in 110% and more."

She looked at her hand, before taking it. "I won't let you down, Golf Ball!"
