¹¹ "Do you wanna hang out with us today?" Namjoon asked over the phone, his voice sounding somewhat hopeful that my answer would be yes, but I was too busy focusing on the conflict within my mind, my inner voice arguing I decline, and the message from my heart telling me to accept.

Namjoon and I had been on the phone for a little while now, as he called me right after I woke up, about 11 in the morning. Noon was approaching, and even though I had planned to go to The Echo to visit Prince Hyunmin, I couldn't resist from accepting his offer.

"Awesome. Jin hyung is cooking lunch, so if you haven't eaten yet, maybe you can come over now and have some of the samgyetang he's making."

"Uh, yeah sure. I skipped breakfast so I'm kinda hungry," I laughed, rubbing the back of my neck.

"Aw, don't skip meals. It's not good for you," Namjoon said sweetly, and I sighed, smiling to myself as his caring nature came out again.

"I'll be fine." There was an awkward, prolonged silence between us, but thankfully I spoke before it could go on for any longer. "I should get ready now. I'll see you in a bit?"

"Yep! I'll text you our address."

"Thanks. Bye, Namjoon."

"Bye, Maya."

The call ended and I dropped my hand on the bed beside me, letting my phone slip from my fingers onto the sheets, a loud sigh leaving my lips. My bedroom door opened, and I rushed to fix a smile on my face, but I dropped it once I saw Levi walk in. There was no need to pretend around him - he knew me too well.

"Hey," Levi said, stepping into the room to lean against the now closed door.

"Hey," I said quietly, keeping my gaze to the rug below my feet. Levi sighed and walked over to me, gently grabbing my hair to pull my head back up to look at him. Nervously gulping, I felt my body freeze under his touch.

"Look at me when you're talking, brat," Levi groaned, letting go of my hair to slide his hands into his pockets. He looked down at me with squinted eyes, a slight glint of pity in his orbs. "What are you doing?"

"I'm going to see Prince Hyunmin. We have some business to discuss."

"Was that him on the phone?"

"Yes." There wasn't a hint of hesitation in my response, but somehow, Levi was still able to see through me.

"Are you still talking to the boys?"

"What? No. I'm over them." I stood up, grabbing my phone to head over to my dresser, searching for something to wear for the day.

"You've been traveling to Earthrealm quite a bit lately. Is there something going on?"

"Like I said, it's business with Hyunmin. He needs some things from Earthrealm."

"He can't just go himself?"

"Will you stop fucking interrogating me, Levi?" I snapped, turning around to look at him, my chest tightening with every question he asked. "It's none of your business."

I quickly pulled out some clothes from the dresser and escaped into the bathroom, locking the door behind me to separate myself from the mess that was beginning to form. Levi sighed from outside, and footsteps followed until they faded into the distance. Sighing with relief, I began to get ready for the day. As I stood in the shower, the hot water plundering against my bare skin, my memories of the boys came back to haunt me.

"Oh, you're kidding me! What is it with you boys and cheating in games?!" I yelled, throwing my controller onto the ground, startling Jimin off of me. Meanwhile, the others laughed at his antics, and simply continued playing and watching the screen mounted on the wall. "It's not funny, you dicks! I'm just trying to play this stupid game and this horny motherfucker keeps feeling me up to distract me!" Jimin keeled over and laughed maniacally as I took a pillow and whacked his back with it.
