~||Izuku's P.O.V||~
The entire court room bursts out into conversation, some louder than others. The lawyers are also yelling trying to talk over the crowd
"ORDER IN THE COURT, ORDER IN THE COURT!!" yells the judge hitting the gavel against the podium. "I will allow Mr..." she then hesitates
"Just call me Dabi" he says
"I will allow Mr. Dabi to be included in this court case if he has information and if his claim is correct. We will need to call someone to do a DNA test though. I will call a break for 10 minutes" explains the Judge. We all stay where we are, though some people do leave. Soon someone comes in and they talk to the judge until the break is over. They then do a DNA test on Dabi, and he is confirmed to be Toya Todoroki. The case continues as normal, and I feel like he was a crucial part of it. Without him they wouldn't be able to see any of the scars and hear his side of the story. Soon the court meeting ends and now the Jury must decide what to find Endeavor as {I'm not good at court talk}. After 5 minutes court is called back and they announce Endeavor guilty of all charges charging him 45 years in prison.
"We did it!" exclaims Dabi
"Toya... why didn't you come back sooner?" asks Fuyumi
"I couldn't deal with him... I'm sorry for leaving you" he apologizes
"Hey, at least you're back, right?" asks Rei
"I'm sorry, but I'm considered a villain. I can't come home" he replies
"We'll miss you Toya" says Natsuo hugging Dabi. The rest of the family joins in and then he says goodbye and leaves the rest of the group (LOV) following. Iida, Shoto, and I go soon after and meet up with them
"I feel so... free!" states Dabi
"Same" happily sighs Shoto
"Does this mean... you guys are free to go?" asks Toga
"Yeah, but I'll wait here for you all" replies Dabi
"Same" adds Shoto
"We have to go before the cops and pros arrive. Bye and thank you!" says Hawks. Then a portal opens and they walk out.
"Well, time to go back to school" sighs Shoto
"Yep... wait, they might know" I say as we walk out. Shoto is about to ask, but we walk outside and see our class
"They might know?" he asks
"Todoroki, are you okay?!" exclaims Mina
"I'm so sorry mon ami" says Aoyama. Everyone starts saying or shouting random stuff about what happened and honestly, it was overwhelming and I wasn't even being asked. I can see that it was the same for Shoto as well
"Hey, can we calm down with all this?! This is obviously making him uncomfortable" I exclaim
"Of course, we're sorry Todoroki *kero*" says Tsu. After that we all walk back to the dorms and I wish I could say that the rest of the day was normal, but it wasn't. There was this tension in the air and hardly anyone wasspeaking. Those who were, were trying to lighten up the mood.
"Hey Mi- I mean Shimura" says Iida walking over to me
"Yeah?" I say watching him sit down next to me
"I've been thinking, since everyone is trying to find their anchor here and release it so say, I wanted to help since I can't do anything with mine" he explains
"So what are you saying?" I ask. it's a dumb question, I know, but I'm dumb and dead, double the excuse
"We need to get you some closure. First, I was thinking you should write a letter to your mom" he states
"What?! What would I even say?" I ask
"Ask her to meet you. Make the letter seem welcoming and not suspicious and meet her at a park or something. I would also suggest asking your dad to come too to get that out of the way" he suggests
"Okay then" I sigh
