"Merry Christmas, mom!" I greeted as soon as my mother get off the car. She was holding a lot of paper bags, probably are gifts for us.
"Mom! Look at Daliah!" my sister complained while pointing on her twin.
My face went grumpy as soon as I saw them. Kahit saan siguro sila magpunta ay hindi pwede na hindi sila mag-away. They always fight over simple things, like wearing the same clothes together, even the style of their hair.
"What did I do?!" Daliah fight back.
Chelseah mocked, trying to tease her. Here they are again.
"Kids! Not here, okay?" Dad said, trying to stop them while he was busy getting their things out.
"I'll help you with that mom" I volunteered to carry those paper bags so that she can carry my brother.
"Thank you love" she said.
I miss them, I miss my home.
"No! I want ate!" Cholo said while raising his arms, he wanted me to carry him.
"Okay, I let ate to carry you. You're a big boy na, you're not supposed to be carried pa" mom said.
I smiled, I miss my baby. He cried so hard when I leave our house because I was about to stay here. He probably missed me so much.
As soon as I carry him, I planted him with plenty of kisses. "Mishu ate!" He giggled.
"I miss you, baby" I said.
"Stop!" Chelseah shouted.
"You should stop shouting, people here might get disturbed with your loud voice" Daliah said.
"You should also stop because people might get scared with your bangs" the other said.
It was like, I'm watching a debate. "Why don't you two stops" singit ko naman. I get irritated when they fight, pati pa naman dito ay stress pa rin ako sa kanila.
They both stop and look at me. I didn't expect what happened next, their eyes rolled.
"Merry Christmas po" ani ni Eli na kakalabas lang. He immediately went near my mom and reached for her hand.
Agad naman binitawan ni mommy ang hawak niyang mga paper bag. "Merry Christmas, hijo. Finally, nice to meet you" she said.
Napangiti ng malapad si Eli, "me too Ma'am, you look so gorgeous tonight" he complimented.
I noticed how my mom's cheeks turned red from that compliment. Iba talaga ang banat ng lalaking ito, pati nanay ko ay napapakilig. "Hon, here's Eli" pagtawag pa nito kay Daddy na abala pa rin sa pag-baba ng mga gamit.
"Go there!" utos ko na agad niya namang sinunod.
"Who's that?" the twin asked.
Napataas ang kilay ko sa tanong nila, kanina lang ay inismiran ako pero nung nakita si Eli naging interesado. Nawawalan na talaga ako ng papel sa pamilyang ito. Siguro kung magkakasama lang sila ni Eli, wala na akong papel sa buhay nila.
"Her boyfriend"
"Mom!" I exclaimed. I didn't even know na may boyfriend na ako. Kahit buhat ko si Cholo ay nagawa kong takpan ang bibig nito. Baka kasi marinig ni daddy at bawasan ang allowance. "Stop, baka marinig ni dad" I explained.
She frowned, "I thought your together na?"
"Soon mom, I'll let you know. Let just first enjoy this night" at niyakap ko siya.
Nakita ko naman kung paano tumingin ang kambal. Aba! Bakit nanahimik si bigla?
