Clouds And Me

I made you my first also my last,

I gave you my heart,

You willingly accepted it,

Later without remorse you tore it apart,

So on unfortunate days,

I look at the dark clouds that mask the sky,

And let a bitter smile adorn my lip,

I let time slip by as with the clouds I cry,

I'm now falling down a dark abyss,

With loneliness being my only fear,

I do not know how deep I'll fall,

For my destination is unclear,

I'm trapped inside,

Resurfaces the desire to spread my wings,

To break free from the chains that bind me,

And leave behind these meaningless things,

But many years have past,

I've forgotten how to fly,

And a life without this darkness seems surreal,

So I rather not try,

For now I'll let time go by,

Looking a the dark clouds that cloak the sky,

A bitter smile across my face

With no tears left,

I'll watch the clouds cry.
