17th of October 1985
Alright tomorrow is the day! I must go to the train in 4 hours and my bags are packed with everything I need and some extra food if I don’t have enough in the lighthouse. I am really excited to be honest. I have never been away from home for that long. Especially not alone. But I think it’s going to be easy. I just need to make sure the light is on every night and to refill it. That shouldn’t be too hard. The rest of the day I can explore the island and get some rest. There also should be a man that explains everything to me. Or at least that’s what he said. But I got this
