In the void, someone watched the event unfold and sighed.

"I knew this boy was trouble." she said.

A base voice said, "You knew it was going to happen, yet you let it happen."

"Pity he has the Dark Blade. It would be nearly impossible to get rid of him with that weapon."

"What are you going to do?"

She looked behind her, gave a creepy smile and took out her phone. "It looks like I have to break them up somehow."

Meanwhile...

Osana found herself tumbling from the dark void which took her away from the land of the living. As she fell, she could see the labyrinth from a birds eye view and prepared herself for the impact when she hit the ground.

Her fall was suddenly broken by something. She looked down to see it was a huge notebook with inscriptions on it. Confounded, she let the book lower her to the floor of the labyrinth, which was decorated with Japanese symbols.

"Long time no see Osana," a voice said.

She huffed and climbed off the giant book which had disappeared. "Satisfied with my faliure?"

In the darkness, a group of people wearing different colors of hooded cloaks emerged.

Osana sighed folded her arms and looked away.

"You don't have to worry." the person wearing a green cloak said, "Your failure was the stepping stone for our success."

"Oh yeah?" Osana sneered.

"Yes," someone wearing a blue cloak said.

"You friend opened the gateway to the human world for us," someone in a red cloak said.

"With the connection holding us to the labyrinth destroyed, there is nothing stopping us from taking our revenge." the one wearing the purple cloak added.

"Is that so?" she asked planting her hands on her hips.

"Yep," she said. Behind them, a portal to the human world opened and one by one, they walked inside it.

"But what about Riabaru?" Osana asked.

The last person wearing a green cloak looked at Osana, shrugged, and walked inside, leaving Osana feeling uncertain.

Later...

It was night time and Jokichi Aishi was in the bedroom getting ready for bed. As he was brushing his teeth in the bathroom, the lights flickered. At first he thought nothing of it and continued to brush until he heard someone humming an all too familiar tune.

He took it from his mouth and looked around. "Ryoba?"

There was silence.

"Ryoba is that you?" he called again.

As the lights continued to flicker faster and faster until they exploded. Jokichi moved back in shock.

This time, the mysterious person began to sing a song making his hair stand on end for the song was familiar.

Too familiar.

Breathing heavily, he looked back at the mirror and his reflection was replaced with someone else. She gave an evil smile and reached out to grab him by the neck screaming. He wrenched himself away and landed on the floor with a slash. Confused, he looked down and saw himself sitting in a pool of water. Before he could do anything, something grabbed his arm forcing him to wrench his arm away only to be grabbed by the second hand. He screamed as more arms emerged, attempting to drag him into the water.

"Darling?"

Ryoba stood at the bathroom door with a torch in hand. She had a knife in hand and she was stunned to find her husband lying on the floor eyes closed rolling in on the shards of broken glass. In shock, he looked at the damage the glass shards had caused to his body and looked at his wife.

While somewhere in the room, the sound of girls giggling echoed in the room.

At the scene of the crime...

It was the middle of the day as a truck drove through the forest on the dirt road leading to the village at the end. The driver was happily humming a tune until he slammed the brakes skidding to the halt. In the middle of the road was a woman and who was obviously passed out. She was silvered haired with cuts and bruises on her face and her clothes were stained with blood. Concerned, the driver got down took a look at the woman then looked around for a while. Picking her up bridal style, he put her inside his truck and drove off.

'I hope she's okay,' he thought.

Meanwhile...

In a dark room, Jake cuddled Emma tightly. Although she was bleeding from the head, he didn't care because her heart was still beating. Gently beating. He opened her eyes, looked at her and closed his eyes.

"You are finally in my arms, Beloved." he whispered.
