Chapter 5:
The night was veiled with silence.Volt led me into a side alley.His blade was perfectly positioned on my spine.I thought of making small talk
"You won't be able to escape with this.The police is on its way to save me."I warned
"You don't really have to lie.Your buddies were too chicken to come here"We took another turn and came to a dead end.
"Are we lost ? "I quipped.I knew what he was about to say.
"No.I plan to kill you here"he confirmed.
This was it.I was going to die in a dirty alley.My body would be found after several weeks when it starts to decompose and stink.Volt pricked the blade ,so now I was up against the wall.
"Wait..."
"What do you want now woman"
"I.....umm I.."
"What!!"he looked irritated
"Do I get a dying wish ?"I blushed.He raised his eyebrows in confusion.
"What do you want"
"Umm...Would you.."
"Would you what??"
"W-Would you kiss me?"I blushed seven folds.He looked puzzled.I scolded myself internally,but I had bought some time.Just waste a little more..a little more.
He looked into my eyes with hesitation...and a little suspicion. Men will be men I rejoiced as he bent down and softly placed his lips on me.
"Volt turn around and put your hands in the air".Finn!!!.Volt turned and raised his arms.There was a whole battalion of men behind Finn.Volt turned to look at me one more time.Did he look hurt..Nah..I must be dreaming.
"Really Celeste..now you're kissing criminals"Finn smirked. Surprisingly Volt had yielded without a fight.
"I had to buy your little late butt some time..its not that I was enjoying it"Liar Liar my conscience replied.
"What now"He turned serious.
We turned back to look at Volt being questioned in the interrogation room.Volt kept looking at the one-way mirror as though he knew I was there.
