Priscilla's POV
-

"I hope your holiday is safe and wonderful! Are you traveling down to Georgia for Christmas?" I asked, twirling a strand of my hair.

"Yep! We were goin' to go down to South Carolina since that's where my brother, his wife, and their son live, but then we ultimately decided we'd have the holiday get-together at my parents' house as the house is bigger and it's a neutral setting," Jon explained, adjusting his ballcap nervously.

It's like this every single time we hang out! Ever since we had that make-out session on his bus back in November, we both have been so awkward toward one another. This is only the third time we've been in contact in person with each other since that night.

"Well, that's amazing! I hope you and your family have the best holiday. Do y'all have any Christmas traditions?" I asked curiously. "Because me and my huge family have a really cool tradition we do every single year."

Jon grinned from ear to ear as he then began laughing out of nowhere, "Oh my God.. I'm glad you asked! So we do this challenge to see who can wrap presents the quickest. I'm the reigning champion actually! You wanna bet I'ma win again?"

I giggled and smirked playfully over at the Georgia native, "In your wildest dreams. I have bets placed on, uh, your mom! She'll definitely win this year."

He was shocked from my answer. If he thinks that I'm going to think he will win, home boy better think again! Here's to hoping Mama Langston whoops her son's ass at wrapping presents is all I'm gonna say, haha.

But alas, he shrugged off my answer and began fiddling with his fingers absentmindedly. His eyes then darted over toward the clock on the wall. Oh my goodness... Time went by so, so quick. Jon had came over to my place at 12 o'clock and suddenly it's now 4:30!

Oops, me and my big mouth never shuts up, poor guy. He's got to start getting ready to travel down to Georgia for his Christmas festivities with his family. As for me, I'll be traveling down to North Carolina to see all of my family. It'll be me, Mom, Dad, and all of my siblings. They are as follows; Oliver, Isabella, Crystal, and Victoria. It's a lot of people, yes, but I love them all so much. My family is the best, literally!

"Oh shoot! I didn't realize we have been sitting here and talking for four and a half hours; you can go ahead and go back home. I know you've got a lot of plans and everything.." I informed Jon, looking up at him.

His eyes gazed down toward me and his smile grew wide, "Hey, it's okay. I love losing track of time with someone just by talking about whatever comes to mind. It definitely makes me feel heard, if that makes sense."

My hand cupped at his scruffy cheek and my eyes followed back into his own, "Honey, as long as you're in my house or with me, you are always heard, seen, all of that. Spending quality time with you is what makes a lot of my days worth it. Thank you for being such an amazing friend, Jon. You deserve more than you'll ever realize."

Soon, he leaned in close to the point that the tips of both of our noses were touching and all my eyes could see was nothing but him.. Oh my God, are we about to kiss yet again?

My intuitions were proving me right. We ended up kissing passionately and hungrily. What even are we...? The way we keep kissing one another, it's like we're obviously not together, but something's got to give. I want him, hell, I need him like I need air... However, there's a side of me that still thinks that Jon isn't ready, and that's okay.
