Jon's POV

"Ugh, it's so damn hot in this dang bus! Can we turn the AC on at least?" My audio engineer, Jazz complained.

That's the downfall that we're all having to deal with on our way down to Georgia for this festival.. Our AC in the tour bus finally broke down and now it barely works. Everyone's taking it out on me, but evidently, it isn't my fault that the AC broke, but whatever floats their boats.

On a brighter note though, we're slowly but surely making our way down to the Peach State! It's a lot harder than any of us thought considering there is no kind of air conditioning in the bus. We've tried opening the windows, but it's pretty warm outside today, so that doesn't provide much cool air into the bus either.

"Jazz, I will say this once again; I cannot help that the AC is broken. It isn't my fault! Here, take this cold water bottle from the fridge and pour it on you since you want to take everything out on me," I snarled, throwing him a bottle of water from the 30-pack that I had bought from Publix.

You see? Being a musician is all fun and games until your air conditioning fucks up and everyone blames you automatically. It sucks, but it's one of the many different things that's going to happen being a singer and having a band as wild as mine, ha.

"Man, who the fuck pissed in your Cheerios this morning? You are super cranky. Oh wait, it's because a GIRL is opening up for you," Jazz shot back, drinking a sip from the water bottle I had tossed to him.

Ugh, it never ends with these guys. Not only is it Noah and Dylan that are teasing me about today, but my whole band and crew except for JD have been teasing me to no end! If it would stop for thirty minutes, the world would be peaceful for that half hour. As soon as things get quiet on the bus though, one of my band members have to bring up me going out and finding love again after the rough break-up from Sonia.

I'm willing to wait for a girl to come into my life, there's no need to rush something that'll happen in due time. I'm thirty years old, I've got some time before settling down. Look, my friend, Cole Swindell is in his late thirties and just now found him a good girlfriend so there is hope in me and for me when it comes to love and relationships.

It doesn't phase me one bit that a girl is opening up for me or whatever they keep saying to me. Just because this Priscilla girl is opening up the show for me doesn't mean I'm mad about that. Hell, I've had this up and coming country musician, Ella Langley open up for me in Alabama earlier this year, so it isn't like I'm discriminating against women or anything.

"Jazz, shut up and drink your water. Y'all have been teasing me about this girl; I just got out of a relationship, damn! One day in the future I'll get back onto the dating scene, but for now, no is no and that's final," I sighed after hopelessly replying.

Since I popped off on my audio engineer, he shut up real quick and didn't say anything to me or anyone for the rest of the bus drive. Honestly, this isn't the first time he's been like this toward me. He can give me the silent treatment as much as he wants, he'll get over it real quick.

**they are at the venue**

We finally arrived in Georgia and man, it is freaking hot today! I've got my work cut out for me today, for sure, haha. By the time this show is over and done with, I'm going to be sweating for a while. Again, it isn't the first time playing in the heat. It's been hotter, I'm positive of that.
