A/N: Sorry ngayon lng po aq nka post....

-----------------------------------------------------------

So far, the week has been fruitful.

Except for Physical Education class where you-know-who had to see me in utterly short shorts.

He never said anything, but with his expression which was the cross-section of amusement and mockery, I’m sure I was fucked up for real. And then we had volleyball, and I could still count all the laughs the class made because I could never get one one serve right.

And then more amusement when one classmate made this really strong spike and I, of all people, got hit on the head because I didn’t see it and I was chatting too much with a classmate.

They were all circling on me and for the first time, I felt important and the coach was yelling that I go to the infirmary, but I was alright. Really. I did feel the insides of my head jumble, but I was alright.

I was wondering if this would affect my thinking and my sensory and motor skills.

After that terrible hit, I sat on the benches, watching the others play, and realize that I’m such a spaz for sucking at volleyball and having that  stupid ball hit my head.

I looked at Sehun who was playing, and he was very good.

He was making friends in the classroom, and that was good.

Why do I care?

O.o

And then the other group was playing, and Sehun was doing a one-on-one with a pretty classmate of ours named Mina. She was like, the muse of the class. And they were playing together.

And they were perfect because she plays too well.

“And you’re here, after making a fool of yourself,” Annie comes to me.

“I always make a fool of myself during P.E.” I say.

“Mina is quick. I admire her for that,” she says.

I don’t say a word. I just nod.

“And you are making less brownie points because you’re clumsy,” she said.

I don’t say a word again. I make more nods.

And then we laugh.

“Are you sure you’re okay?” she asks me, touching my head.

“I’m pretty sure my neurons are still intact,” I said.

Then coach blows the whistle and Annie’s up.

And Mina and Sehun are still playing.

“Chen! You’re up!” one classmate calls.

“Pass!” I shout.

They do acknowledge it, because the concussion was brutal.

“Someone has to play for you, though,” coach says.

And in a heartbeat, I hear Sehun’s voice saying, “I’ll play for her!”

That left me speechless.

He ran to my team, without even looking at me.

And I just watched as the great Sehun played for me and winning for the team.

And I felt like I was actually leading my team to victory.

Which was weird.

He must have been listening the whole time to answer so suddenly and volunteer.

After the game, he just looked at me, and then walked away.

Then it was time to change into our uniforms.

The girls were like, “Oh my gosh, Zoe, we think Sehun really likes you.”

And I was like, “He was just volunteering because I’m a spaz.

And they laughed.

“That could be the best answer, you know,” I heard Trixie, one of Mina’s confidantes.

The girls were eyeing on her like she was a snake.

It was good to know that I was friends with all the girls except for Mina’s chic group.

And since I was the brainiest and they looked up to me, and I was nice, they sided on me.

“Shut up, Trix, and go back to finding your brain elsewhere,” Annie said.

They laughed and Trixie walked away, ashamed.

When I went out, Sehun was standing by the hallway.

When he saw me, he turned away.

Which was disturbing.

Annie and I passed by him, and then he just went beside me.

Annie poked me with her elbow.

I pulled her sleeve so she won’t leave me.

“Thanks,” I said. “About vouching for me.”

“That was not a problem,” he said, with an amazing blank expression that made me wonder if he was happy to do it or he just pitied me.

So I just kept silent.

“Does your head still hurt?” he asked me, and was actually looking at me.

“Not anymore,” I said.

“You should go check it up because we don’t know what the internal damage could be,” he said.

“Nah, I’ve been hit by a volleyball several times, so...”

“Yeah. She’s a spaz,” Annie interrupted, and I hit her side with my elbow.

I could hear him snort softly.

“It’s not my fault I suck at sports. Some people are naturally born at sucking sports.”

Then looking from the corner of my eye, I see him, nodding.

But I have to admit that making Sehun see how much of dork I am was very shameful.

I wanted to bury my head in the floor that time.
