   REMI PRESSED her phone to her ear. It was almost noon and though it wasn't unusual for Kim to call, it still surprised the eldest James daughter. 
   "Hi, Kim," she greeted gently, placing her finger between the pages of her book, Bright Side by Kim Holden. 
   "Hey, Babe, I just wanted to let you know that Dylan is sick. He's been throwing up since two in the morning," Kim explained, "Are you and Colby feeling all right since you were here last night?" 
   Remi licked her lips, "I'm feeling okay. Colby hasn't answered my texts today, but I'll call Sam and check." 
   "Okay, I just wanted to let the two of you know," Kim said with a small sigh. 
   "Thank you. I hope Dylan feels better and I'll get back to you about Colby. I love you guys!" 
   They said their goodbyes and Remington folded the corner of her book so she could close it fully. As if a coincidence, a text message from Sam came through.
