The pic is Irene. The only people I own are Irene, Mr. Acoff, and Irene's family. Everyone else belongs to Rick Riordan.

Ahhhh. It had been a long day. Everything at school had been normal. The day moved along as it always does, except I had two tests. Now I'm home, and it's time for a little "me time!" I said to myself. No one else was home, and the homework load was pretty light. I was excited to watch a little TV. As I settled into the couch I ripped through the channels as fast as possible looking for something to watch. I was changing the channels so quickly there's no time to hear what anyone is saying or really see what's going on any one channel. However, something did catch my eye. I changed channels back to a large man with the camera very close to him, almost too close. I turned up the volume to hear what he's saying. "...and in other words this is a rare opportunity..." he says. I sarcastically commented out loud, "Rare, I'm sure?"

"Oh, it's very rare," he argued, stone faced and staring right into the camera, at me.

I eeked out, "Whoa, that's weird."

"No, it really isn't," he responded right in time with me. Now I began to worry a bit and moved from the couch toward the kitchen door.

"Where are you going?" he smoothly asked, his eyes following me.

"What?! I'm..."

"You want to go somewhere?" he interrupts. "Then go to the front door. I bet you'll find that interesting...or weird," he chuckles.

I went to the door, and put my ear to it, but I heard nothing. I thought about turning the knob but when I tried to pull the door open it didn't budge. Weird. Maybe I actually have to push it to open it instead of pulling? So I tried to pull open the door. Nothing. I checked if the door was locked. It was. I sighed in relief. But when I unlocked it it still didn't open. What??? I ran to get the key but when I got back to the door the lock wasn't there and I could see through the crack that it was locked again. Huh?!? Okay now this is getting a bit creepy. I'm usually not paranoid, but now I'm becoming a bit of a worrywart. Waaaait. That guy on TV. I ran back to the couch and there was the guy sitting on my couch reading one of the books that was on the table.

So that was the first chapter. I didn't write it in chapters originally but I made it so it's not so long. I hoped you liked it, remember to comment and vote!
