chapter two

BELLA AND HAYLEY enjoy their night away from reality, the girls watch movies, laugh, and eat. A lot. Bella was starting to understand what family feels like and this made Bella excited to have her and Elijah's child.
The girl's fun was ruined when Hayley hears a car pull into the driveway. "Who's here?" Hayley asks.
"Maybe Elijah," Bella hopefully replies while pausing the movie and getting up. Bella looks around and grabs a poker from her fireplace.
"What the hell do you need that for?" Hayley asks the other brunette.
"In case it's not Elijah," Bella replies shrugging making the Marshall girl grin and shake her head.
The cousins walk halfway down the stairs when a blonde woman walks through the front doors like she owns the place.
"Who the hell are you?" Hayley questions the blonde woman.
"You must be the maids," The blonde says setting her keys down. "My bags are in the car. Could you get them?" The woman says.
"Ouch, first of all, second of all we are not the maids so get the bags yourself blondie," Bella fires at the blonde still confused
"Oh you're the girls my brothers knocked up," The blonde replies with a disgusted face "I was kind of expecting to see some kind of supernatural baby bumps but you girls obviously aren't showing," She says disappointed.
"Hayley, and Isabella right?" She asks the girls
"It's Bella," Bella corrects the blonde.
"You have your brother's manners," Hayley tells the girl
"And his temper too, so watch it." She fires at Hayley obviously annoyed "Where is Elijah?" She asks Bella.
"I wish I could tell you, he left which isn't the best thing you want to find out when you just have come to terms with your pregnancy," Bella rants.
"What do you mean he bloody left?" the blonde asks Bella
"Well one minute he's reassuring me I won't raise this baby alone and the next he's gone," Bella responds, the last two words repeating in her head 'he's gone' "Then Klaus told me he bailed on us," Bella finishes a single tear threatening to fall. Bella begins to play with her rings avoiding eye contact
