Tangled up in Blue

Bella walks downstairs with a stretch as her eyes land on a pacing Hayley who seems focused "What's up?" Bella asks making the wolf jump slightly.

"Damn Bella you scared me," Hayley claims

"Why were you so focused?" Bella asks while grabbing her purse off a coat rack

"Klaus and Rebekah are talking to Sophie, and I have nothing better to do than listen." Hayley says with a sigh "Where are you headed?" The younger girl questions

"Work, one of the bartenders called in sick and I picked up the shift," Bella shrugs

"Oh alright," Haley replies before walking toward the kitchen

The brunette walks down the quarter until she arrives at Rousseau's and is greeted by the smell of beer. "Bella I'm so glad you're here!" Camille exclaims from behind the bar

"Yeah, I'm glad the shift was open or I would've slept all day," Bella jokes causing Cami to laugh.

Bella gets behind the bar and clocks in before tending to her customers.

The next hour was steady and Bella and Cami got plenty of tips, thankfully but Bella thought she heard a voice she knew.

"Aren't you dating Marcel Gerrard?" A female asks Camille as Bella instantly makes her way toward the voice "He's a friend of mine... Sort of" Bella watches as Cami shifts uncomfortably and hides it with an awkward smile "I heard he had a crush on the blonde bartender at Rousseau's,"

Bella listens to Cami mumble on about how they technically aren't dating as the brunette grabs a regular customer a beer with a comforting smile.

Bella no longer can listen to the blonde's conversation and instead is forced to listen to her customer rant about how his wife is divorcing him, causing Bella to give him lame advice before making her way to other customers.

Bella and Cami clock out after people for their shift arrive and both go their own ways

The Siphoner-Wolf arrives at the mansion and is engulfed by the scent of cologne and bourbon only to see Klaus in the foyer waiting for something, or someone.

"Bella just on time!" Klaus exclaims catching the girl off guard "On your bed, there is a beautiful dress along with a masquerade mask." Klaus shares with a huge smile

"Why do I need to put a dress on?" Bella asks while hanging her purse on the coat rack 

"My old friend Marcel is hosting a Masquerade Gala and I have come up with a plan to locate Elijah," Klaus states making Bella raise an eyebrow signaling that she is listening "Marcel will be busy with vampire business, Rebekah will then leave to tell Sophie to do the locator spell, and you and I will stay close to Marcel but you must keep a low profile because if Marcel knows your there he will be suspicious," Klaus explains and goes in depths of how Bella will have to siphon Marcel to make sure Katie keeps using her magic.
