NEW YEAR'S RESOLUTION
Entering a whole new world
is a challenge among people.
Not always used to change,
adaptation is not the usual.
Meeting new person each turn,
and learning valuable lessons—
either from love or indifferences,
it leaves wiser mind or complicated lesions.
Young lady in an unfamiliar place,
a lot of faces which are blurred
from those people she never knew
who will change everything in her.
The people who really engraved themselves
in her mind because of the things she learned,
not regretting she met them but thankful
she has new things and tricks earned.
After this world, she will enter another—
careful with the serpents, fools, dogs, and owners,
she will surely stumble upon one of their kind,
but her wisdom and plans will never falter.
"I will look at their eyes, see their motives.
Promise to become the game master."
This is her New Year's resolution—
be ready for the new game of the future.
