Lee Jeno had accomplished so much in his twenty-two years. He started off as a rapper in a well known k-pop group that introduced the world to him. His music career was doing great but something inside him shifted when he started receiving emails from beauty companies interested in having him. Jeno had this unique beauty that made him stand out from the rest. His first gigs were beauty shots with makeup brands, then skincare ads, until he ended up in the modeling industry. During his days as a trainee model, Jeno was constanlty unnoticed, which led to insecurities. As he gained recognition, he created this shell to let people know he was not the one to mess around with.

"Where the hell is my makeup retouch? Do I really have to keep giving out the same instruction?' Whenever he was in the middle of a shooting session, Jeno could turn into a pain in the ass.

"I'm sorry. I got the shades mixed up." Donghyuck came running to give Jeno the needed retouch. He was a certified makeup artist who had done looks for many idols and actors.

"So many years of experience and these rookie mistakes keep happening to you."

"Would you rather do it yourself? Since you know everything..." Donghyuck had known Jeno since his first catwalk. They had a love-hate relationship, where Donghyuck would put Jeno in his place.

"Just do my makeup! The stylist should be here any minute." Jeno had a big day ahead of him. Today he was shooting the promotional pictures for his appearance in the New York Fashion Week.

Jeno was really looking forward to this campaign; so far, this was the biggest milestone in his career. A huge male apparel company contacted him to be the face of their brand as the opening event of NYFW. His stylist was in charge of receiving his outfits for the photos and making sure the looks were together.

"Jeno, can we have a minute alone? We need to talk." Mark, Jeno's manager, had a face that could scare anyone.
"Just spill it Mark, the stylist must be on his way and my makeup isn't ready."

"Precisely that is what I need to talk to you about... He won't make it. He sent his resignation letter this morning." Mark sighed, waiting for the drama that was about to happen.

"He did what?! That useless piece of... UGH! Just what I needed." Jeno stood from his chair, almost making Donghyuck ruin his makeup. "Tell me you did not just come to give me the news."

"Actually no. I called one of my colleagues, Ten. I asked him for help to book a new stylist but all of the prestigious ones were obviously booked." Mark stopped, waiting for Jeno's reaction.

"And?"

"Well, Ten managed to get me one of his recently graduated students from his academy." Mark's friend owned a fashion design company, which is based in Thailand but his quality made it international.

"A practitioner? You're kidding right?" Jeno was too demanding, this mainly being the reason most of his staff quit during important campaigns. "Can't we just fly Ten over here?"

"No. He's on vacation with his husband. The most we can do is have this practitioner or the pictures won't be able to come out today."

Jeno looked more stressed than ever. This was his first time at the event and he wasn't trying to ruin his chances of partnering with other brands. He had no idea who this person was, but he would have to deal with him for the time being. After the Fashion Week was over he would make the arrangements to hire a new stylist for the upcoming projects.

"Okay, fine. Did you already contact his person? How fast can they make it?" Jeno sat back down to allow Donghyuck to finish his makeup.

"He's on call. We just needed your approval to let him now." Mark was relieved. His job was too stressful; the only reason why he accepted being Jeno's manager was the flexibility he had to spend time with his boyfriend, Donghyuck.

"Okay, I'll be waiting." Mark was about to leave when Jeno made him turn. "Oh, and Mark... Let him know who he'll be working for. If he can't keep up, he can just stay home."

Half an hour passed. Jeno was about to call Mark when the doors to the studio opened. Mark came in like he had just ran a marathon. Before he could scold him, a second person entered the place. Jeno was confused about the new guy, they looked around the same age. His blonde hair made him look younger. He was wearing oversized clothes but Jeno knew a sculpted body when he saw one. The young man entered, gripping his bag like his life depended on it. Mark showed him the way until they reached Jeno and the rest of the staff.

"Just as we discussed, here we have your stylist for Fashion Week." Jeno signaled the blonde guy to introduce himself.

"H-Hi. My name is Na Jaemin." He slightly bowed to show his appreciation to Jeno. "I just graduated from..."

"You don't have to bow, we're not in Korea. I don't need to know anything about you. Gather your stuff and get to work, we're already being schedule." Jeno didn't wait for his response. He entered the dressing room where Jaemin was supposed to meet him.

Minutes after Jeno entered, Jaemin met him inside the dressing room. He brought along a bag with Jeno's awaited outfit, a flat iron and a sewing kit. Jeno was quietly examining the blonde guy, more like judging him.

"Whenever you're ready, please remove your clothes so I can finish the fitting process." Jaemin didn't dare look him in the eye, not after the cold introduction he received earlier.

Jeno was aware of the effect his personality had on people, but his mindset was clear and simple. He removed his buttoned shirt, revealing his toned torso. During his idol days he had to constantly train to maintain his figure, hence the godly shape he carried. Jaemin was too distracted ironing the dress to notice when Jeno completely undressed, only leaving his Balenciaga underwear. When the blonde guy turned around he was too stunned to speak. This was his first time working with an actual model; he couldn't stop admiring Jeno's silhouette.

"Take a picture, it'll last longer." Jeno snapped Jaemin out of his daydream.

"Oh, I'm so sorry. I didn't mean to stare." Jaemin felt so dumb. Who gets caught checking out their new boss? "Would you mind wearing the suit first? I was told we need to adjust the front part."

Jeno wore the suit as he was told, while Jaemin opened his sewing kit. He grabbed the scissors to make a small cut near the button line. The suit had some loose fabrics around, so he sat down to reach them. As he carefully entered the scissors he noticed the closeness of Jeno's abs to his hands. The sight of his abs moving with every breath mesmerized him. When his eyes reached Jeno's belly button his hands did an involuntary movement, completely ruining Jeno's suit.

"What did you do? Have you lost your mind?" Jeno was alarmed by the sound of the scissors cutting the fabric.

"Oh my God. Mr. Lee! I'm so sorry. I can fix it, I swear. I just need some time to..." Jaemin couldn't believe he ruined his first job experience with a rookie mistake.

Jeno lost his patience. He gave this inexperienced guy a chance and the first thing he does is ruin the most important element of his apparel. Forgetting about his professionality, he grabbed Jaemin's face, making him stand up.

"Give me one good reason to not end your sloppy career right now!"
