Jaemin lived in the heart of New York City. He enjoyed going on walks rather than taking the train. He came from a wealthy family which gave him whatever he wanted within a snap of his fingers; still, Jaemin decided to hustle for his own career. He always told himself there was no honor in bragging about things you didn't earn with your own sacrifice. For obvious reasons, his parents refused to support him on his fashion designer journey, so they cut communication with him. Chenle was the only person Jaemin had to rely on. Now that he graduated he was working in the hopes of finding a company that hired him as a designer.
After he grabbed two iced americanos he made his way to Jeno's studio. He was still going over what happened last night. The thought of Jeno touching himself to his voice made him dizzy. Jaemin tried to let it go, he had no intention of letting Jeno know he also liked him. He kept reminding himself what an arrogant person he was, he despised men like him. Jaemin was not the type of person to go around using people, but he really needed exposure to grow as a designer. That's the reason he decided to go to Jeno's studio that morning. When he arrived, Donghyuck opened the door for him.
"He's waiting for you in the back. Beware, he's not in the best mood today." Donghyuck was one of the few people that could read Jeno without asking too much.
"Don't worry, I'll handle him." Jaemin made his way to find Jeno.
He was sitting on his couch, scrolling through his iPad. Jaemin smiled widely when he noticed Jeno was reading an article about their appearance on the carpet.
"We did good, didn't we?" Jaemin sat next to him, offering one of the coffees.
"You decided to show up? I thought you would ghost me again, after you hung up on me last night..." Jeno snatched the coffee, taking a long sip.
"I thought we were done with our conversation, so I said goodbye." He lied. He knew their conversation was far from finished.
"Okay, I see. Then in that case, get to work. The concept information is in that envelope." Jeno's attitude shifted completely. Now he seemed colder, back to his old self.Jaemin was left alone in the room to study the details. Jeno had been invited to an influencers' event to celebrate the launch of a vegan skincare line. The company was requesting the guests to wear pastel colors with a semi formal dress code. Jaemin sat on the floor to start his doodles. He had a slight idea of what he wanted for Jeno, but he was missing something. Since his model wasn't around his inspiration was running low. He took his phone to text Jeno.
"Come to my office, please ;)"
Jeno appeared in front of him wearing his robe. "This better be important, Donghyuck was doing my skincare."
"Take off your robe for me." Jaemin loved the reaction in Jeno's face. He was probably thinking the worst about him.
"Are you crazy? I'm not doing it here. All of my staff is outside." Jeno was nervous with the request he just received.
"I said take off your robe for me." Jaemin stood up, taking his drawing pad with him.
Jeno tried to complain again, but Jaemin stopped him by putting his pencil in his lips. The model loosened the knot on his robe, revealing his chest. Jaemin noticed his nerves wouldn't let him finish undressing so he helped him. He entered his hand gently, uncovering his right shoulder. Jeno's skin turned red, revealing how nervous he was. The designer felt flattered for a moment, but then he felt Jeno shaking.
"Are you okay?" Jaemin placed his hand on Jeno's waist, comforting him.
"I am. Just do what you have to do so I can get dressed again." Jeno was avoiding eye contact.
"If you want to talk about it we can take a break." Jaemin tried to be as gentle as he could. Jeno could be an asshole but he was still a person.
