(Synopsis: Alissa celebrates her birthday with all of her friends.)

"Wake up!"

"DANGANRONPA!" Alissa fell out of the bed. She grabs her glasses from her nightstand, putting them on, "What the-?"

"Happy birthday!" the redhead's grunkles, Harvey and Oswald, said in unison as they held a cake in their hands, one they made sure was not red velvet. The two remembered how Alissa got tired of red velvet after helping with volunteer working and having to make dozens of them. Harvey and Oswald both had their own shop, a museum as they liked to call it of memories from their times overseas before retiring.

"Oh!" Alissa stands up, "Thanks, you guys!"

...

"Okay, we got your birthday picnic set up in the park." Harvey told her.

"And we invited your classmates Marinette, Ryder, Nathaniel, Rose, Juleka, Kim, and Max. We excluded the ones you're not friends with, including the mayor's bratty daughter and her pet." Oswald added in.

"We also have Ivan, Mylène, Alix, and Nino coming too." Harvey informed her.

Alissa smiles, "Thanks, guys."

...

The picnic was set up in the park. Alissa didn't want an huge party like Chloé probably would throw for her birthday. She just wanted to have a little get together with her closest friends.

Marinette arrived first, since she's the best friend, her hair up in its bun as her bluebell eyes shined with excitement. The second to arrive were Rose and Juleka, the former's blonde hair reaching her shoulders as she smiled brightly while the latter gave a small smile. Kim and Max arrived together around the same time, the pair smiling as the latter had his hair in an afro. Nathaniel arrived with his sketchbook in hand, smiling shyly. Ryder arrived, a hand to one of his ears as he smiled. A few minutes after, Alix, Mylène, Nino, and Ivan walked over, smiles on all their faces as well.

...

"I don't know if I should cut my hair." Rose comments as she took a bite out of the cake, humming.

Alissa's cake was nothing too extravagant. It was a vanilla cake with chocolate filling.

"I think you should go for it, Rose. That's what I did when school ended." Alissa points to her short red hair. It used to be pretty long, going down to her shoulders.

Marinette and Max nod, pondering if they should change up their hair as well.

As Nathaniel was drawing a portrait of Alissa, Ryder still had a hand to his right ear.

"Ryder, dude, what is with your ear?"

"Huh? Oh! It's just a bee sting."

"Dude, that's too serious! Let me see!" Alissa yanks the teen's hand away, gasping, "Oh my God! You got an ear piercing?!"

"What?!" Kim looked over.

"Ryder got his ear pierced?!" Ivan asks in surprise.

Ryder was known to be the "rich kid" of the friend group, but he never wanted that title. His parents, Percival and Millicent, were very strict people who wanted him to excel in everything. Percival was a lawyer and Millicent was an investment banker. They made him join many after school activities, including fencing, playing the violin, learning how to speak foreign languages, etc. He didn't want to do all those things. His true passion lied with wanting to make his own songs and becoming a musician like his favorite rockstar, Jagged Stone.

"No one tell my parents, okay?" Ryder starts laughing.

"Your poor parents can't possibly know." Nino comments.

"His poor parents would be furious. If we tell them, they'll be mad." Max says.

"Yeah, your patents will be furious if they found out that you pierced your ear." Kim adds.

In the distance, they heard someone say, "What?!", making everyone at the party laugh.

Alissa chuckles as everyone was enjoying themselves. She couldn't wait for next school year. Maybe she won't be in the same class as Chloé Bitchgeois and her little pet. Maybe she'll make some new friends. She messes with the purplish black kwagatama charm that hung around her neck as her kwami, Batti, was sitting in her jacket pocket, eating raspberries. She still remembered how she got her for her birthday the previous year.

...

Wang Fu led his goddaughter into his massage shop, where he took out the Miracle Box. He had been training her ever since she was ten years old. He took out a Miraculous that was in the top drawer, Batti, the bat kwami, flying out.

"Batti!" Alissa greets as the kwami flew to perch on her shoulder.

"Hello, Alissa." Batti responds.

"Alissa, now is the time for you to permanently use a Miraculous to protect the civilians of Paris. I had you use each and every Miraculous in this box and the Bat Miraculous seems like the best choice for you."

The redhead nods as she puts the Miraculous, the jewel camouflaging to look like an ordinary black headband.

...

The classmates had given her presents of all kinds, knowing just what she would like. Nino and Ryder had gotten her her favorite CDs, including one of her favorite K-Pop bands, BLACKPINK. Rose and Juleka each got her her favorite colors of nail polish. Kim and Max got her some video games for her switch. Nathaniel bought her some books from Stephen King. Mylène and Alix got her her favorite anime series. Ivan got her a plushie of Monokuma from the Danganronpa series.

"Here you go, Lissa." Marinette hands her a present with red wrapping paper and a black bow.

"Thanks." Alissa unwraps the present and gasps upon holding up the item. It was a handmade pair of eyeglasses with red frames.

"I know you said I didn't have to, but I wanted to make you some new eyeglasses." the bluenette smiles.

"Oh, Mari..." Alissa takes her original eyeglasses off and puts her new ones on, "This is so thoughtful of you. Thank you." she hugs her best friend, who hugs her back.

"Haberday, Alissa!" the group says in unison. It was a tradition for the redhead to say "Haberday!" to her classmates when it was their birthday.

"Thanks, guys."
