(Synopsis: When his dish at a competition is sabotaged by Chloé, Marinette's great-uncle, chef Wang Cheng, is akumatized into Kung Food, who recruits henchmen with his cooking.)

Alissa and Marinette sit on the couch, the latter using a translation app on her phone.

"You'll see, Lissa. With this app, I'll say it just fine." the bluenette taps the microphone button and starts speaking, "Welcome to my home. My name is Marinette."

"欢迎来到我的家，我的名字叫马里内特."

Marinette repeats after it, pronouncing the sentence wrong as a frowny face appeared on the app, "No, that's not right."

"You'll be just fine, huh?" Alissa asks with a smirk on her face as her best friend stuck her tongue out at her in retaliation.

Marinette repeats the translated sentence again, this time saying it correctly as a smiling face appeared on the app.

"Good job, Mari!" Alissa told her.

"I'm so nervous! Do you think he'll like them?" the bluenette grabs the purple flowers that were on the coffee table.

"Of course he will! They're fine!" the redhead reassures her.

"They can't be fine, they have to be perfect! My Mom's uncle is a super famous Chinese chef. He's very particular, so things have to be just right." Marinette says as the doorbell rings, "That's him!"

"Well, let's get the door." Alissa calmly walks over to the door as her best friend trips over the couch. The bluenette then stands up and opens the door.

"你好." Marinette's great uncle, Wang Cheng, bows.

(Hello.)

"Uh, welcome Mari you're at Nette's. Uh ah, welcome to Marinette's! You're Chinese! Uh, no, no, no, no! In Mandarin!" the bluenette attempts to greet him in Chinese, "Uh, no wait." she reaches for her phone and hands the flowers over to her great uncle.

Wang smells the flowers before plucking the petals and storing them in his bag.

"Welcome to my home. My name is Marinette. Ugh, this is so lame." the bluenette says into the translating app.

"欢迎来到我家. 我的名字叫马里内特. 哎，这个真差劲. 哎，这个真差劲. 哎，这个-"

The app malfunctions, making Marinette turn it off. She then lets Wang inside as Alissa takes her phone out.

The redhead dials Isabella's number and calls her, "Belle, Mari and I need your help. Her mom's uncle is here and neither of us know Mandarin."

"Isn't Marinette half Chinese? Why doesn't she know her own language?" the brunette asks in confusion.

"Ask her that question! Not me! Do you know Mandarin by any chance?"

"Well, I know a little bit of Mandarin, but-"

"That's great. We're at Mari's house. See you then." Alissa hangs up, sighing in relief.

Marinette, Alissa, and Wang Cheng sit uncomfortably on the family sofa before hearing the doorbell ring.

"We'll get it!" Alissa and Marinette stand up and run over to the door, opening to see...

"Hi, guys!" Isabella waves.

"Hey!" Adrien adds.

Marinette feels her face repeatedly in panic, "ADRIEN!? What in the-uh, what are you-"

Alissa cuts her off by covering her mouth, "What are you doing here, Agreste?"

"Isabella and I were in the middle of hanging out when you called. She said you needed someone who speaks Chinese? Well, here I am! Translator at your service." Adrien bows, making Isabella giggle.
