(Synopsis: Alya's dad is akumatized into Animan, a villainous shapeshifting animal. Ryder and Adrien work together to help Nino confess his feelings to Alissa. However, unbeknownst to them, Marinette mistakes it for a date with Adrien and forces Alissa to help her.)

Isabella, Alya, Alissa, and Marinette were talking on the stairs at school.

Nino spies on them from across the courtyard, a smile on his face.

Adrien suddenly appears behind him, scaring him, "FYI, Alissa's never gonna fall in love with a statue." he yelps as he gets pulled into hiding.

"Shhh! You know I'm no good with the ladies, especially this one all of a sudden. I mean, dude, do I go up to her and crack a joke? Shoot her a compliment? Invite her to the zoo? Play it serious?" Nino holds his head.

"Nino, you're way over-thinking this. "Invite her to the zoo", you serious?" Adrien asks, raising an eyebrow in amusement.

Nino sighs, "Well, they have this really cool new exhibit there." he rubs the back of his head.

The blonde wraps an arm around his shoulder, giving him a finger-gun, "Listen, just be yourself, man."

"That's easy for you to say, Mr. Front-of-the-cover-Teen-Model-weekly. I'm not that cool."

"You're cool too, dude, trust me or you wouldn't be my best bud. Invite Alissa to the zoo. She'll say "yes", I promise."

Nino nods and straightens his cap before walking over to the girls.

Alissa looks up at him, "Oh, hey, Nino."

The boy shrieks and runs back to Adrien.

"Bye, Nino." the redhead looks at her friends with a confused expression, shrugging.

Nino cowers in the corner, "What if I act like a moronosaurus, or she disses me or thinks I'm lame or-"

"Okay, I got your back." Adrien reassures him as the two friends fist bump.

"You like spying on girls?" Ryder appears behind them, spooking the two boys, "So, Nino has a crush, huh? On who?"

"Err..." Nino glanced in Alissa's direction for a moment.

Ryder catches it, his eyes widening, "Alissa? Are you for real?"

"Why? Is there a problem with him liking Alissa?" Adrien looks confused.

"No, it's just that I didn't think Alissa would be his type."

"It just happened, dude. It's exactly what you said when you had a crush on Marinette." Nino points at him, Ryder shaking his head while waving his hands in front of him.

"You had a crush on Marinette?" Adrien asks in confusion.

"Not anymore! Let's just say when Marinette likes a guy, she can be...weird."

"We'll be heading to the zoo now. See ya later!" Alya calls out to Alissa and Marinette as Isabella gave them a wave.

"Bye, girls!" Alissa waves back to them as Marinette's head was in the clouds, dreaming about Adrien...again.

Ryder gives Adrien and Nino the signal to come out from behind the banister.

"Oh, he's such a-"

"Smartie, hottie, suavísimo, yummy-tastic spellbinder?" Alissa cuts her best friend off with a deadpan expression.

"All of the above." Marinette says dreamily before bumping into Nino, "Huh?"

Nino was standing very still with a blank expression on his face.
