Moment of Rest

Nightraid began to walk to their base after their loss, the least injured such as Mashiro, Umber, Sheele, Lubbock and a few others were carrying the most injured.  Thankfully they managed to escape before any more of the guards arrived at the Estate.  The group slowly but surely they made it through the forest without so much as a problem other than the constant moaning of pain from the group.  Nobody has said a thing since the fight there was a certain air of tension amongst the group, with each of them thoughts brewing about their situation.

Sheele: "Are you okay, Mine?"

Mine: "I'm fine, I just have a major headache."

Sheele was carrying Mine on her back as she walked back to the base.  She then looked over to see that Leone was helping Akame, both were deep in thought, probably about the fight.

Sheele: "Leone, is Akame okay?"

Leone: "Yeah, overall she's fine.  Although she lost her teigu."

Akame was holding the broken handle of Murasame, she knew that you took the rest of the shards.  Akame was deep in thought, now believing that her and Najenda's plan against Esdeath has been ruined by (Y/n).  Although this was the least of Akame's problems right now, she was having a consideration of whether or not she was doing the right thing if their hunting Batman.

Mine: "Wasn't our plan to kill Esdeath with Murasame?"

Lubbock: "I'm sure Najenda has another plan."

They continued to walk, until they began to hear shouting from behind them.  It was the Oarburghs each yelling at each other for how things went during the battle.

Cassandra: "I can't believe that you gave him a chance to escape Gilberda, you couldn't possibly have been that stupid."

Gilberda: "Well where were you?  I didn't see you last more than a minute against him.  Plus it wasn't my idea it was the Nightraid brat."

Cassandra: "Well then why the fuck did you listen to that little shit?"

Gilberda: "Because, when the batman took Merraid from us.  The pain was unimaginable, and I wanted payback by hurting him in the same way.  If you had the opportunity to do the same, to get payback against him for taking the one we love from us, would you have taken it?"

Cassandra said nothing because she knew that she would have probably have done the same thing. 

Gilberda: "Just as I thought."

Gilberda then looked over to see Chelsea and Taeko, who was carrying Loris who was still unconscious.

Gilberda: "I didn't see you help Chelsea?"

Chelsea: "What did you want me to do?  Fight him?"

Gilberda: "Oh I don't know something other than standing around like a nitwit."

Chelsea didn't say anything, because in some way she knew that Gilberda was right.  She could have done more but in reality she froze when she saw you, because she was scared of the Batman.  Yet why wouldn't she be, she witnessed you fighting the strongest oarburgh and escaped death, it also didn't help that you were later then called a devil.

Taeko: "Are you okay Chelsea?"

Chelsea: "Yeah, why wouldn't I be?"

Chelsea quickly hid her fear from others returning to her cool and calm demeaner.  Although Taeko knew Chelsea long enough to know when she was burying her feelings, but Taeko didn't pry.
