Tatsumi was heading to the capital, riding along with a few merchants after killing a danger beast, gaining a bit of gold and advise. Telling him to be careful since the capital isn't what he thinks it is, it's a dangerous place full of dangerous and corrupt people. But Tatsumi ignored all these warnings so he could get a job within the military so he could get money in order to save his village. Now he is in awe of the capital in front of him, since it was the biggest city he has ever seen.

Tatsumi:" Whoa, this place is so big, if I make it her I could just buy the village"

Unaware of his surrounding the naïve Tatsumi didn't realize that he was being followed until he reached a building where he can be drafted into the imperial army. Not even a minute later he was kicked out due to his demand to be something higher up than a private with his skill.

Tatsumi: "What the hell man, what's your problem"

Drafter: "There's a depression going on and I've already got more applicants than I can handle, I'm not going to waste my time on some stupid kid"

Tatsumi: "Huh, Depression"

Drafter: "Now get lost"

He's starting to think on how he should show that he's captain material, that is until someone came up to him.

Leone: "Hey there "

Tatsumi looked back to see a busty blond woman who was leaning over him, this caused him to lose track of his thoughts for a moment.

Leone: "Hey buddy, eyes up here."

Tatsumi got right back up and began to force himself to keep his eyes on hers.

Leone: "Let me guess, you came from the country in search of fame and fortune didn't you."

Tatsumi: "How did you know that?"

Leone: "Well let's say that I have an eye for spotting bright eyed country boy's like you. Hey I know a secret to becoming an officer in the army really quick."

Tatsumi: "Tell me?"

Leone: "You want to know?"

Tatsumi shakes his head furiously to show that he really wants to know.

Leone: "Buy a girl lunch."

Next think that Tatsumi knew that he was in a tavern paying for drinks for this woman, he was somewhat impatient. He was trying to be patient, but the fact that she was on her third bottle, his patience was running thin.

Leone: "Aah, nothing like drinking booze in the afternoon. Come on, why don't you try some?"

Tatsumi: "Enough with the drinks, just tell me how to become an officer in the military."

Leone: "Well about that first you need a lot of money."

Tatsumi: "Money?"

Leone: "You see, I just so happen to know someone in the army. He could hook you up if you make it worth his while."

Tatsumi: "Well will this do?"

Tatsumi puts down a large bag of gold on the table.

Leone: "Whoo, what do we have here?"

Tatsumi: "It's just some reward money from killing a class one danger beast, no biggy."

Leone: "Ooh, big guy. You might jump straight up to captain."
