Pained Aftermath

Gordan was walking side by side with Seryu, he got some information of a noble's house exploding into fire.  Although he was told that it was in the district of another guard station and it was their jurisdiction, but a couple of girls along with Aria said that they were trying to hide something.  So he went over to investigate with some extra muscle, and he brought Seryu since she's part of the Jaegers she could overrule any authority as long as it isn't Esdeath.

Captain: "We have this handled Captain Gordan, there is no need for you to be here."

Gordan: "I have every reason to be here."

Captain: "No you don't this isn't your district."

Seryu: "Then what about business with the Jaegers."

Seryu said as she confronted the captain, as he quickly backed off as the Jaegers were dangerous people to mess with.  The captain simply stood aside for the two to enter the crime scene, which was basically what was left of a mansion after it was burned.

Gordan: "Well, let's see what we are working with."

Seryu: "Should I call Bullock?"

Seryu asked as she knew that Bullock was the detective and would probably be able to spot something that they wouldn't be able to.  Although it's not to discredit Gordan's detective skills but it's because Bullock was one of the best.

Gordan: "We give a sweep, then we secure the perimeter then we bring him.  He's also busy interrogating those guys who were under Stylish."

Seryu: "Right."

They both began to walk around the burned building which didn't seem to have much to point to anywhere until Seryu noticed that Gordan was staring at a tree trunk and some broken down trees.

Seryu: "What did you find?"

Gordan: "Those trees over there, they were smashed by something."

Seryu turned around to see some trees in the distance that she didn't notice before.  It was quite far and no normal soldier would have noticed it.  They both began to walk over to a open area that was obviously a battle, seeing blood broken trees, a piece of bloody gauze, and several pieces of metal and rubble scattered around.

Seryu: "Looks like that there was a battle here."

Gordan: "A tough one too, and there was multiple people fighting."

Seryu: "Could it be those filthy criminals Nightraid."

Gordan :"there's a possibility, but I don't think it is."

Gordan then leaned over to see a black piece of cloth, when he grabbed the cloth to realize that it was reinforced.  Then he looked down to see some familiar footprints of reinforced boot of the Batman but then looked over to see some large footprints.

Gordan: "Could be the Batman."

Seryu: "That could be right, but why would batman do that?"

Seryu said as she was pointing over to burning building.

Gordan: "I don't think he did."

Gordan says as the large footprint wasn't anyone's he could tell but noticed that it lead to the burned building as well as a few more broken branches that lead to said building.

Gordan: "Follow me."

Gordan began to follow the footprints where it stopped at the building, then noticed that there was something off in this particular location of the rubble.  There was a difference in a pattern in where the rubble fell as if something was burst through the wall before it burned down.
