Long after the Doom of Valerya, the entire region was thrown -- into chaos. Many lost their lives: and those who survived were left to pick up the pieces. The survivors of Valerya struggled to come to terms with the loss of their homeland, while the Celtigars were forced to find a new place to call home.
Despite the devastation, some saw an opportunity in the chaos. Pirates and raiders preyed on the weakened cities and towns, while others sought to carve their kingdoms from the ruins.
For years, the region was plagued by conflict and uncertainty. It wasn't until the rise of the Targaryen dynasty that some semblance of order was restored. The Targaryens, who had fled Valerya before the Doom, brought powerful dragons and a determination to unite the fractured region.
Under the Targaryen banner, the Seven Kingdoms were forged into several realms, bringing an end to centuries of conflict and ushering in a new era of peace and prosperity. However, the memory of the Doom and the destruction it wrought would linger for generations, a constant reminder of the fragility of civilization and the importance of unity in the face of adversity.
And so shall a long-forgotten House rise again.

The atmosphere in the throne room was heavy with tension as Ruth's father made his announcement. Ruth's heart sank as she heard the words that would change her life forever. Her horrible uncle was now officially her father's advisor, and he would have a say in every decision made in the kingdom. She knew what that meant - her uncle would have even more power to wreak havoc. Ruth's lip twitched in annoyance as her father announced with pride. She and her younger sister, Skadi, studied for years with the Maesters to become applicable candidates for the position.
But before Ruth could protest against her father's rule, her older brother stood up abruptly from his seat at the king's side, causing all eyes to glue onto him. Whispers amongst the crowd of people were exchanged regarding Cyril's outburst.
