chapter 3

chris pov ——-

"were here" matt says

i get out of the passengers seat and go over to kat

"run into the water with me" i ask

"chris are you crazy, itll be so cold and i dont even have bathers" i reply

"ugh fine but at least run to the edge with me" i ask again

"ok only for you" she gives. me a charming smile

"ok cmon" i grab her hand and start running

she follows behind me and when we get to the edge of the water we stop

"you're so slow" i say

she out of breath trying to insult me back

"just give me a sec to catch my breath so i cant insult you" she says

i start laughing

"it's not funny!" she says defensively

"yeah it is actually" i say still laughing

i get closer to her and bend down to put my hands around her waist and set her on my shoulder

"OMG! CHRIS PUT ME DOWN!!"

i smirk now walking over to nick and matt they've set the blanket down and i decide to plop kat on that so she doesn't get sandy

"chris!!!!" she whines hitting my back

"ok ok i'm putting you down" i say

taking her off my shoulder and slightly dropping her on the blanket

"hey! you could've put me down nicely" she says

"sorry about that" i reply smirking

"ugh at-least help me up" she sticks a hand out and i grab it but she pulls me down

i'm now laying beside her both of us looking up at the sky

"you bitch!" i say

"you deserved it" she responds

"true" i smile

kats pov ——

after waiting for the sun to come up watching the calm ocean i got tired and fell asleep

untill i got abruptly woken up by an eager chris

"katty wake up the sun is rising" he says still shaking me

i admire it and while the sky is still pretty i ask nick to take some photos of me for instagram

i feel a pair of eyes on me as i'm posing i go over to nick to look at the photos and i look over at chris he's looking at his phone i look over to matt and he's practically staring holes through me he sees me looking and turns a bright colour of pink before quickly looking away

he must've just been hot he wasn't blushing
and he was probably just staring at me to insult me

"these photos are so good nick, can you take a few of me and chris?" i ask

"yeah for sure, chris cmon" he replies

chris gets up and comes close to me and outs in hand on my waist looking at nick smiling

"another pose?" nick asks

i look at chris and pose kissing his cheek i can see his face go red

"aww chrissy is blushing" matt pipes up

i look over and smile at him which is something i rarely do

"ok chris take a photo of me and nick now" i ask turning back to him

nick gets down on one knees and puts his hands out like he has something in it

i put on a fake shocked face and look at him

immediately i burst out laughing and fall onto the ground getting sound all over me

"chris! please tell me you got that!!!" i ask him still laughing

"yes of course i did" he responds

i look over at matt to see his chuckling which is also quite rare

"kat could u take a photo of us three?"
nicks asks

"yeah for sure" i say getting off of the ground and putting my hand out for chris to give me the phone

they signal for matt to get up and he does so

nick is in the middle and chris and matt on either side of them

i took about 10 photos of them doing different poses then they ask to see the photos we all huddle in a circle over the phone as a swipe to the different photos

"wow these are great" matt says

did he just say something nice?

"yeah we're posting these later" nick chimes in

matt was standing next to me and since we were all trying to get a good look at the photos he banged his head on mine

"ouch! what the fuck?" he says

"oh i'm so sorry matt are you okay?" i ask genuinely

"whatever i'm fine, can we go now the suns up" he says now waking away

"i'm sorry guys, he was in a good mode and i ruined it" i apologise to the other two

"no! kat it's not your fault" nick says

"yeah he's just like that you didn't mean to he's just being stupid!" chris says now with his arm around my shoulder

we walk back and nick gathers all our stuff which is nice of him

matt is already waiting in the car as soon as we shut the doors he turns the engine on and starts driving

the whole car ride was silent and i was looking out the window the whole time

i could tell nick was occasionally looking at me and chris as well but i just ignored it

nick decided to speak up

"kat do you wanna come stay with us today? we can hang out all day and you can sleepover" he asks

"aww thanks but i don't wanna intrude, i don't wanna bother your parents" i say trying to think of an excuse to not see matt for longer

"nonsense! kat they love you your welcome to our house anytime" chris now says

"are you sure ?" i ask

"yes definitely!" nick says

"alright" i respond

"yayyyy" nick happily says clapping his hands
