❝No one was there... But then you came.❞

I stared out from the airplane window. The clouds, the stars, the moon... It shined so bright from my point of view. I couldn't help but ponder what beautiful thing was out there, beyond this earth, beyond the galaxy... But I couldn't help but feel contented because I had an angel beside me right here and right now and I couldn't ask for anything more. I closed my eyes and sighed contently. My eyes wandered to the sleeping figure beside me. Her legs folded underneath her, her arm draped on her lap, the other curling around my arm, and her head resting on my shoulder. Her face was contorted into a frown, her face scrunched up like she was having a nightmare. A tear slipped from her eye...

I continued to watch her sleeping figure wondering about what she was dreaming about. I lightly shook her awake, softly whispering her name into her ear. She gasped lightly sitting up straight before her face calmed down, she turned to look at me and heaved a relieved sigh.

"Are you okay, Sweetie?" I asked.

She sighed scratching the back of her neck, "Yeah, uhm, I'm fine." She said.

"You were crying in your sleep." I said.

"Just a nightmare, nothing to worry about." She said.

"Oh, what was it about?" I asked.

"N-Nothing." She stuttered.

I sighed, "It's always nothing." I mumbled.

"Look, Greyson, I don't want to argue with you." She said sitting up straight.

"Look, [YN], were together now. Were supposed to trust each o-" I started.

"Please fasten your seatbelts we are now about to arrive in Oklahoma." The voice over informed.

She groaned fumbling with her seatbelt as I finished fastening mine. I rolled my eyes locking it for her turning around to look out the window.

After we landed we got out and waited for our bags in silence. The piercing silence between us was deafening as we got into a cab. We were going to surprise my family, since they weren't expecting me to come over for Christmas and I thought it would be happy... So far, not so much.

We were as far from each other as the cab would offer, her on the right side and me on the left side.  She clutched her necklace as she stared out at the overcast sky and she looked beautiful, entrancing and just beautiful. My anger was slipping away and I had to remind myself about our fight earlier but it wasn't working. I turned away from her to stare out the window, because I couldn't take it. Snow lined the streets and covered the lawns and the houses. The cab stopped in front of the house and we stepped out, I didn't bother wait for her and grabbed my suitecase and walked straight ahead. I silently opened the door, the key was still under that rock.

[YN] came a minute after me and we silently tiptoed to where the laughing voices were heard. Hmm... Mom did say something about two of my friends and their families coming over for Christmas. We both froze at the entrance of our living room, struck by the scene. Austin sat next to Tanner and Alexa on the couch, Lauren stood next to the Christmas tree smiling at the camera, Mom was taking the picture and a guy I don't know stood behind Mom smiling genuinly. Dad was sitting with the rest of their families scattered around the living room.

Everyone froze and turned to look at the both of us at the door way... And I took [YN]'s hand but she was already taking steps back, her face as pale as the snow that lined the corners of the windows and the empty streets.

A/N SORRY! THIS IS ALL PART OF THE PLAN THE NEXT ONE WILL BE BETTER AND LONGER PROMISE :D
