< Chapter 29 >

Kelani's POV:

      I feel myself slowly waking up from a very deep slumber. My eyelids slowly opening as I remember where I am, I look over to Maddy seeing that she is still very much so asleep which makes me wonder what time it is.

      I pick up my phone from the nightstand and see its only 3:37 am, fuck im up too early. My throat suddenly feels very dry, UGHHHH i don't wanna get up. I decide to go to the kitchen to get something to drink. I hope they are okay with that.

     On the way to the kitchen I almost got lost atleast 4 times but i finally found it. I make my way over to the fridge and open it looking despiretly for something good to drink. I find some orange juice and decide that will be refreshing. I get out a glass cup and pore some in to it before putting it back in the fridge.

      I hear the front door opening and my thoughts start going crazy because who the fuck would be coming to the house at such an early hour. With my mind racing i decide to rush back to Madisons bedroom as fast as possible but i can only walk fast because i do not wanna spill my drink.

     As I exit the kitchen and try to rush to the stairs a voice booms through my ears.

"Who are you and what the fuck are you doing in my house?"

I turn back to look at the source of the voice who has his hands tucked in his waistband almost as if he's reaching for something.

He is a strong decently muscular man who looks around 18 and he has pretty prominent feautures.

"Uhh im Kelani a friends of Madisons and im sleeping over im sorry i shouldve not come down here so late i was just so thirsty."

"Oh ok well why didnt you say you were a friend of my sisters, my bad if i scared you." He says nonchalantely as he retracks his hand from his waistband.

"Oh and i'm Leonardo by the way but you can call me Leo, coincidently enough I am a leo" he chuckles at the end a bit.

"Haha ok Leo, sorry if im intruding I just woke up with a really dry throat"

"Oh don't worry make yourself at home" he says comforting me a little.

"Ok thank you, Maddy said she had two older brothers, wheres the other one may I ask?"

"Oh him, he's a huge grump but he should be getting home in a couple hours, are you even tired?"

"Not really to be honest, I woke up wayyyy to early for my liking but sadly i'm wide awake right now" I replied.

"Me too, I slept on the jet all the way here so theres no chance of me going back to sleep, wanna watch some tv?"

"Sure i guess"

"Ok follow me"

We make our way to a movie theatre in their house and i still can't believe how amazing this house is and how much stuff they have in it.

We sit in the top back row so we can see the big ass tv screen better. While I sit down he goes to get us two buckets of popcorn.

He hands me the remote and click to open netflix. I scroll through the trending and my eyes instantly land on what I wanna watch.

"Uhuh nope no way are we watching that, its so stupid"

"Have you ever even seen it?" I ask him.

"Nope but i've heard enough about it to know its stupid as hell and a waste of time to watch"

"Ok well suck it up buttercup because we are so watching it, you can't say you don't like something if you've never seen it" I retort back.

"Ugh fine but only since your the guest, and don't expect me to enjoy it." He says back to me.

I finally press play and my favorite show starts playing on the big screen.

2 hours later......(in spongebob voice:))

"Oh my god he is such a crybaby why does he even exist and why does everybody like him" Leo asks in an exagerated voice.

"Dont ask me ask the writers of this show, and there is a reason why so many people call him ratty matty"

"Well that fits him very good plus what did Elena even see in him he even looks like a rat"

" Again ask the writers not me, now just shut up and watch" I say getting more comfortable around him. 

"Wooooooow so rude to me and your the guest here" he says in a fake sounding hurt tone.

"Oh don't be a baby and shhhhh" I say turning my attention back to the tv.

He lets out a sigh but doesnt say anything further.

Just as it gets quite and peaceful we hear footsteps. I pause the show and we both turn to the door.

"Oh hey-

heyyy guys, i was gonna do more for this chapter but i decided to leave it on a tiny cliffhanger so lmk who yall think it was. Also idk if its just me but i feel like my writing has improved so much, i'm almost thinking about writing an actual book but idk yet.
