< Chapter 31 >

Kelani's POV:

     We have been driving for about 30 minutes and either of us have yet to say anything. But the silince has began to be comforting to me. Like what would I say, what would he say to me. Why do we keep crossing paths. As im drowning my thoughts he makes a turn into a dirt road before we park and I see an amazing view. It is a cliffside overlooking the ocean.

"I always come here to think and calm myself down" He says breaking the silence. With that he gets out of the car and I feel the urge to follow him so I exit the car just as he is walking infront of it.

"Whenever I am with you do not open your own door" he says in a sharp tone.

"I am more than capable of getting my own door i respond".

"Yes i know your are but you deserve the world at your feet so just let people treat you how you deserve to be" he says his tone softening a bit.

With that we both go silent again and we walk over to the cliff edge and sit down, looking at one of the most beautiful sunrises I have ever seen.

"Wow, it is so beautiful" I say looking out on it.

"Yes it is" he says. I look over to him and he is looking right at me. Was he just talkin about me? No he can't be.....

"Why" he says.

"Why what"

"Why is it i cant seem to avoid or forget about you, the way your hair sways when you walk, the way you dance on that pole, the way your eyes look right into my soul, you make me feel something i've never felt about anyone."

"Alles"- I start to say but he cuts me off.

"I know you don't approve of what I do and I know you want nothing to do with it or me but you are like the moon to my darkness. You light up my dark world, each thing about you is like a star and you Kelani, you add the bright moon and stars to my life. I need you"

I- I didnt even know how to comprehend or respond to what I said but my heart made me want to kiss him. I decided i should follow my heart for once and like the saying says, actions speak louder than words.

I lean in and grab his face pulling it to mine and kissing him like we were about to vanish into thin air at any given second. He was a bit shocked at first but he wasted no time in kissing me back like his life depended on it.

The kiss gave me the biggest feeling of euphoria. It was like we craved eachother after such a long time. I moved my right hand to his hair and was rubbing it while pulling his face into mine even more if that's even possible. Every single anxious thought left my body in that moment.

After a little while we pulled away from eachother as we both gasped to get air back flowing through our bodies. He just sat there staring at me.

"You are so goddamn beautiful" he says making my cheeks flush and i go to look down at my lap but he puts his fingers on my chin and lifts my head up to look at him.

"I want this to get through your head tesoro you need to know it, you are the most beautiful woman in the world"

"I don't see it but i'm glad you do" I respond.

"Shut up right now"

"Make me" i say in a daring tone. Within a split second I am laying down with his hand on my throat and him kissing me. I smile into the kiss and then a few moments later he sits back up like nothing happened and looks back at the sunrise.

"Dont ever test me Kelani because I can only resist you so much"

"Yes sir" i say back causing him to intake a sharp breath but he doesn't say anything further. A small gust of wind blows past us and i find myself shivering and rubbing my arms.

"Here" i hear him say as he takes his jacket off and puts it around my shoulders.

Madison's POV:

    I am sitting down in the kitchen eating some pancakes when suddenly the doorbell rings, which is weird because noone else should be coming today.

I grab a gun from a hidden compartment in the kitchen island and hide it in the back of my waistband just to be safe. I open the door and see noone. I was about to shut the door when I saw an envelope on the ground. I pick it up and open it. As I read it my heart starts racing and I rush upstairs barging into dads office interupting his and Leonardos conversation.

"What is it Maddy we are busy" Dad says to me.

"Read this" i respond as i hand him the letter. His eyes immediately go almost black with rage as he rushes to pickup is phone and call Allesandro.
