< Chapter 32 >

Kelani's POV:

     This is one of the best moments of my life. Just laying down with my head on Allesandros lap as we both just stared at the amazing view infront of us while he played with my hair. I wish i could just savor this moment forever, I mean like why can't life always be this peaceful. His jacket lay over me like a blanket and his arm draped over it.

     Suddenly his phone rings disrupting our peaceful dreamlike moment. He looks at the caller ID and brings it up to his phone while answering.

"Dad hey whats u-" he must have been cut off by his dad talking. I notice his eyes go dark and his face go red in anger, well that can't be good.

"On our way" he says in a clipped tone then hangs up the phone.

"We need to leave, right now." he said as he stood up, me following in suite.

"Why whats going on" I questioned confusingly.

"I will fill you in later but we need to get back right now" with that we rushed to the the car and after he opened my door he practically sprinted to the drivers side. Oh no i hope nothing is wrong.

His knuckles are turning white from gripping the steering wheel so hard and his foot is almost to the floor he's definetely going way past the speed limit. He keeps checking the rear view mirror almost as if he looking to see if anyone is following us. Ok now i'm worried. Ill just wait till we get back to the house.

The ride that took us about 35 minutes before just took us 10 minutes, do not ask me how fast we went because i dont know for sure but im pretty positive we were well in the triple digits.

As soon as we park in the garage he rushes over to me and gets my door. As we make our way inside he has his hand guiding me almost as if hes trying to protect me. From what? I do not know but i'm hoping to find out soon.

Madison is waiting for us in the foyer and shes pacing back almost as if shes panicked. Is she?

As soon as we enter her head snaps to us and she immediately grabs both of our arms and pulls us up the stairs.

"Come on we have to go to dads office now" she says while pulling us.

We are soon infront of a large pair of rounded oak doors. She doesn't waste any time as she just barges right in.

"Oh thank god you two are here" Mr Cortez says from behind his large oak desk.

He doesn't say anything else, instead he pickes up a paper and hands it to Allesandro and I. Sandro takes it and holds it for both of us to read.

I was not ready for what it said.....

      Dear Cortez's, a little birdie told me about
a new special person taking residence in your
home, whether it is temporary or not I hear Allesandro has taken quite the liking to her, after all they have a tiny bit of history and he's already obsessed. Ugh women. But as I was saying don't get too comfortable with her being around because i am going to wait for the perfect time and snatch her right from under your dumb little noses.

Sincerely, your biggest threat

My heart began racing with panic. Why the fuck would someone want me? As thoughts of panic pile up in my mind, it gets harder and harder to breath. Allesandro looks livid but almost right away noticing my panic. He gets up off of the chair and kneels down before me taking my hands into his.

"Hey hey listen to me it's ok I promise noone is gonna hurt you. They would have to get through me first and I will not let anyone get to you."

I cant even talk im just shaking my head constantly acknowledging him.

"Your gonna have to movie in with me and my family so we can protect you are you okay with that?" he asks in a very soft gentle tone.

I frantically shake my head yes and just jump into his arms for a hug because I really need comfort right now.

He doesn't waste any time to indulge me in one of the best hugs ive ever had.

"Hey it's ok i'm right here i'm not going anywhere i promise, match your breathing to mine" he whispers into my ear.

My breathing starts to slow down and match to his.

"Tomorrow, we are going back to italy tomorrow so be prepared everyone." Raphael says.

"Italy? But all my stuff is here" I start getting more anxious again.

"Dont worry about that I will have our movers get all your important stuff and bring it to our home in italy, if all else fails we will just buy you all new stuff.

I didnt even know how to respond to that so I just nod my head a quick yes and then lean into him for comfort.

"Ugh you bitch stole my best friend" Madison says out of nowhere as she rolls her eyes to Allesandro.

"I actually had her first so shut up before I sell you to a pack of wild dogs."

"Hey if anyone is getting sold to a pack of wild dogs it is both of you" Leo chimed in pointing between Sandro and Maddy.

This cheered me up a little and a small smile made it's way to my face.

"All of you shut the fuck up before I sell all three of you aannoying brats to a pack of wild dogs and go do something." Raphael joined the conversation to causing me to laugh a little more and louder.

"I'm sorry is something funny to you Ms. morano?" Sandro asked me with a devilish glint in his eyes.

"Yea your family" I say while laughing my ass off.

"Oh your in for it"

Before I can realize whats happening he has me slung over his shoulder and is sprinting down the stairs. I mean i aint complaining but where the fuck are we going?
