< Chapter 30 >

Kelani's POV:

"Oh hey lil sis" he says from beside me.

"Hey big bro but what are you guys doing in her and-" she looks at the tv gasping alittle before turning back to me with a slight hurt expression on her face.

"Watching vampire diaries without me? You hurt me Lani" she said is an overexagerated fake hurt tone just like her brother did earlier. She also holds her heart as if it's hurting. She is something else.

"Well i woke up around 3:30 and was thirsty as hell so i went to the kitchen i hope that's ok, I got some oj from there and by the time i was done i was wide awake and then I ran into your brother here and he was wide awake too so we just decided to watch some tv" I explain all the earlier events.

"Oh ok well scoot over broski im sitting between you two" She says coming over and pushing Leo to move over.

"Oh and of course it's ok you went to get a drink, make yourself at home"

"Thank you so much really and your brother said the same thing haha" I respond before pressing play on the remote again.

"Ew it's ratty matty" She says making me let out a small laugh.

"He's just......ew"

"I think he gets worse as the show goes on"

Me and Leo say at the same time before getting shushed my maddy as she points towards the screen.

"Ugh Stefan is so hot i cant"

"Hey, no boys till your 30"

"Oh please shut the fuck up you can't talk and i will do as i please with or without you finding out" She retorted back at her older brother sounding a bit annoyed.

He scoffed and muttered something along the lines of 'sure,think what you want'. She just rolled her eyes and that's when I chimed in.

"Damon is my bae I mean i choose him over stefan any day of the week."

"UGHHH what can you POSSIBLY see in damon but whatever your entitled to your opinion so lets just watch now."

With that we all go quiet and pay attention to the show.  Suddenly we hear a phone ding and maddy takes her phone out of her pocket to check it.

"Oop big bro is home we got to go greet him, dad just texted me" She said. I paused the show yet again and we all make our way to the entryway.

As soon as I see who entered all the feelings come rushing back to me. His ocean blue eyes find mine and my breath hitches in my throat. Is this why his family is so rich? Are they all in the mafia? A million thoughts rushed through my head. It was all so overwhelming for me.

"Kelani?" my name rolled off his tounge.

I was barely to say anything but the only thing i could manage to say was the one name i had tried my best to push to the very back of my mind.

"Allesandro"

He continues staring at me like i'm the only person in the room which makes me anxious so i begin fidgeting with my hands.

I look around the room and everyone is staring. Raphael is looking between me and Allesandro as if trying to figure out what is going on, Leo has his draw dropped to the floor staring and pointing between us, and Maddy is so wideeyed it looks like her eyeballs are gonna pop out.

"SHES THE GIRL YOU CAN'T SHUT THE FUCK UP ABOUT?"

Both Leo and Maddy say at the same time while still staring making Allesandro glare at the both of them with a look that said 'shut the fuck up right now'. Hearing this from them made my stomach start fluttering with butterflies, making me even more anxious.

Can he really not shut up about me?

Does he care about me that much?

A million thoughts and questions rushed through my head. The whole room was silent but thankfully maddy came to the rescue.

"Lets go get out of our pjs" she said to me making me instantly get out of my trance and rush up the stairs with her following in trail behind me.

I got dressed into a simple slightly cropped shirt and some baggy jeans and put on a pair of black and white converse that maddy said I could wear.

After we were both ready she told me we should probably go back downstairs. She didn't push anything or was nosey which I was thankful for. I'm not even sure i'm ready to confront him but i dont think i have a choice.

We make our ways into the living room where all the guys are sitting and talking. They look up hearing us enter and all of a sudden the room is quite again. Fuck me.

"Lets go for a car ride we should probably talk" He says looking straight into my eyes. I am so anxious but I don't think it's a good idea for me to decline.

"Okay" I say.

Maddy looked like she was about to go with us but one look from her dad made her look down and make her way to the couch.

I followed him into the garage. He opened the passenger door of the beautiful matte black blacked out audi r8 for me. After he closed the door behind me he made is way into the drivers side. The care roared to life and we immediately started driving. The quiet ingulfing me like a layer of a ice cold blanket.
