Journal:
Today it rained. This was both a blessing, and a curse.
At first, I was glad to be spared the trouble of having to water the crops again. But I still had to pull some weeds, and the work was slow and miserable under the pelting rain. I'll have to invest in an umbrella... when I've got two coins to rub together.
I should get one for Pip, too. That's what I decided to name the Scatterpillar. Poor guy, he's not having a good first day on the farm. He's gotten all soggy, and I decided to clean him off and put him inside for now.
Any rancher worth his salt would have a fit if they saw me putting Fae in the house, but I just didn't have the heart to leave him out there in this rain. I know this won't be an option if I get serious about collecting these critters, but hopefully I'll have a barn for them soon enough.
Otherwise, yeah. Not a lot happening today. I felt under the weather since weeding the garden. It wouldn't be so bad if I wasn't soggy, but I... err, I haven't got too much else to wear right now.
And there's not a lot to do indoors. I took a look at the alchemy set and whatnot, but I'm reluctant to get too attached to any of the things, since it's looking like I'll have to sell some of them to get by.
Speaking of getting by, Pip ate a ration today. I didn't know what else to feed him. So much for my master plan.
Rations remaining: 0
End.
