That Time I Got Reincarnated as a Kijin

I... remember.

So I came from a different world? Is that something that can happen, or is it me? Did my sister live? I never saw if she made it out of the fire. Is it possible to go back? The flames die down around me and the smoke clears, as Rimuru drops the fire. "Oh, right! I forgot about your fire immunity," he says with a smile. "Are you ready to give up?"

I stare down at the ground. "No, I'm done," I mutter. "I'm not fighting anymore. Just kill me." If I came to this world through reincarnation, I should be reincarnated again in another world. And if I keep trying, maybe I'll get back home somehow. "It doesn't matter. I'll just come back as something else. It happened before, that's how I got here."

Rimuru's eyes widen and he steps forward. "That's..."

"Waiiiit!" someone shouts in the distance. Everyone turns to the noise. Yenko runs towards me at full speed, and on top of her is Gro. "Leave her alone!" he yells, throwing his spear at Rimuru. Rimuru easily catches it, and Gro jumps off Yenko's back. Yenko fills the area with blue fire from her mouth, and Gro suddenly bursts through the smoke, landing on the tip of the spear with one foot and pushing it through Rimuru's grip, sliding it up to his neck. Gro jumps to the ground, grabbing the handle and holding it. "Leave my friend alone. Or I'll cut your head off!" he growls.

Rimuru looks down the spear at him and smiles, putting his finger on the tip and pushing it away. "You got some moves. Want to come work for me?" he asks.

"Yenko, go!" Gro shouts. Yenko runs through the smoke and picks me up in her mouth, throwing me on her back. How is Gro moving?

"Hey, hey, wait! Stop!" I yell. Yenko keeps running. "I said..." I extend my wings and flap them as hard as I can, digging my knees in. "STOP!" I lift Yenko a little, stopping her. "We're going back! I can't leave Gro!" I jump off her back and run back to the battlefield. If he tries to fight Rimuru by himself...

Gro jabs forward with his spear, but Rimuru easily dodges all his attempts. When Gro finally lands an attack, Rimuru activates a skill, creating armour over his arm. The spear snaps, the tip flying past Gro's eyes. "Look, kid. You're good, but none of you stand a chance against me," Rimuru says, suddenly looking menacing. "This is really dragging on..." His arm turns into a long blade. "Can you just surrender? My patience is running out." He lightly slashes Gro's chest, sending him flying back.

I activate Hyper Movement and thought acceleration. The world slows down as I run to Rimuru ready to attack him. But his head moves as he looks at me, drops of Gro's blood still filling the air. His eyes have a different look from before. As my fist hits his chest, his body turns to some kind of blue liquid. It wraps around my hand and travels up my arm. I quickly shoot fire and the slime retreats off me, reforming to Rimuru. "What the hell are you?" I ask.

"Did I forget to mention?" he says innocently. His body melts into slime on the floor. "I'm a slime. He flies towards me, spreading out to completely consume me. Mimicry, Rimuru.

"Activating Mimicry: Rimuru Tempest.
Activating Extra Skill: Black Fire.
Activating Extra Skill: Ultraspeed Regeneration."

I fire a wave of black fire from my hands and push him back. I have everyone's abilities now that the analysis was completed. "Black Lightning!" I shout, putting up two fingers and summoning a bolt of lightning from the sky. It hits him directly, making a cloud of smoke. Suddenly I'm hit in the side and sent flying. I spread out my wings and glide away before hitting the ground, but this is bad. I'm almost out of magicules, even after increasing them when I evolved. I need some physical moves, that aren't so magicule-intense. Mimic the purple chick and red guy!"
