A Swell Ending

Chapter 1

As I looked out of the boring school window in to the cold wet lonely chilling abyss outside as the rain was coming down on to the asphalt. Hi I'm Andalynn and this is my story, I'm a senior almost eighteen and I have long brown hair and blue eyes, I am ambitious to leave this small town to begin my new life. The only problem is That I have no idea how to do that just that, the town is small with just a couple 100 citizens,everyone knows everyone, not many activities or things to do with just a couple of fast food restaurants and a couple of diners.Also a Walmart that people love to hangout at after school just to get snacks and dinner for the coming evenings, my parents own one of the diner called the city limits, my mother and father both work there since that is where they met. My sister Bailey is eleven and is still in elementary school however she acts like she's in middle school , I have a twenty one year old brother w ho is named Troy and has worked in construction for a couple of years, my sister and I work at city limits with our parents, Bailey is a hostess and I am a waitress. I hate this town and this life little did I know that was about to change! As the bell rung it was time for us to take our seats and for class to begin. Lucky for me I had already done that. Just as the teacher had walked in
"Good afternoon class"
Before we get started I'd like to introduce our new student
"He goes by the name of Lance Bickerd"
He was was tall but not taller then most guys in our school he had long black hair and blue eyes he was not fat nor thin but neutral like me, he had a stare that could paralyze you in a second. Mrs pep had him sit right next to me I could practically hear him breathing on me. Class couldn't of started sooner
I just wanted to go home. Lance would look at me every now and then. His ghostly chill sent shivers down my spine I could never catch him though. Before I knew it the day the was over and I still had at least four or five hours of work ahead of me. Just then I hear someone calling my name as I come out of my thoughts
"Hey andalynn"
Hey girl"
That's stacy she has been my friend since middle school we are so close! She's the kinda girl you wish you could be and the girl that looks like she's made of lillys and Rose's.
"How was your day?"
It was good how was yours?"
So fun"
"I bet I just wish this day would be over "
"Me t oo"
With that the two girls went their separate ways
Andalynn couldn't not help but fixate on Lance's Blue eyes and how they would look when He glance over to her in fourth period the day was about to be over how ever not for Andalynn she had still had work at the family diner, which would be accompanied by homework and possibly household chores. As Andalynn clicked her pen on and off waiting for the bell to ring she kept feeling the adrenaline of leaving class, the kind of excitement you get just before a roller coaster meets the top. With out a second to waste all of the students flowed out of the halls like pigs to a feeding troughs. Except they didn't want food they wanted freedom.
"Andalynn"
She turned slowly
"Yes stac."
"Be careful driving home"
"I will, you want a ride"
"Of course I do!"
The two girls headed home and made some small talk along the way the roads were long and muddy from the rain pelting them all day.
"Bye stacy see you tomorrow"
Bye andalynn

She started down her own drive way to her own house
The rain had not let up quit yet. She sat in her truck a just while more  listening to the way the rain hit the cab of her truck.
