During the next broadcast, Newton and Dina were the only ones at the desk.

"I just want to thank you, Ms Dulude for not getting mad at Newton or myself for Shauna's gross negligence. We're not that close to her" said Dudley.

"You're good, Mr Leicester; all you need to do is produce this bad boy" said Ms Dulude.

At the desk...

"Newton, I'm so impressed you're here" said Dina.

"Oh, it was nothing. I just remembered to take a left at the water fountain" said Newton.

Dina laughed and said "Funny and cute! In fact... I think you're awesome".

"You do?" Newton panted sheepishly.

As Dudley started the camera, Dina kissed Newton's cheek causing him to smile at the camera without saying anything.

"Newton... talk" Dudley whispered.

Newton didn't say anything. Dina pushed his chair away and got in front of the camera herself.

"Thank you, Diesel. Dina Davenport here with your Galveston news" she said.

Dudley ran over to where Newton was and tried to snap him out of it.

"Newton! Newton, are you alright?" said Dudley.

"Smells nice..." Newton sighed.

Later, when Newton was well enough to get back to work, he came across Shauna wheeling a janitor's cart and wearing one's outfit.

"Ew! I can't believe I have to work as a janitor for my punishment! Murderers get better looking jumpsuits!" Shauna shouted.

"There now, Shauna. It's just for two days. Besides. If you need any help, I can go trashcan diving for you again" said Newton reassuringly.

Shauna laughed as Newton picked up a piece of paper from another trashcan.

"Shauna... this note was meant for you" he said.

Shauna read the piece of paper and gasped in shock.

"Hey. This is the note I found that told me that lame story tip about the horse meat. This could lead me to the person who destroyed my reputation as a serious infotainer" she said running off.

"You can keep saying it. It's still not a word" said Newton.
