Texas Guys ep. 9- "Say it Isn't True"

Chapter 6

That night at home...

"Daddy! Mom is an alien!" said Penelope with a panicked tone.

"Now, Penelope, Texas may be strange, but we live in it now and it's still part of this country" said Gerard.

"She's not from Texas! She's from the planet Tsuris. She's here to gather information so they can invade earth!" said Penelope.

"Really? Well, that would explain who she's writing to all the time. She's always at work and hardly spends enough time with her friends" said Gerard.

"It also explains those tennis racquets she calls feet" said Penelope.

The two looked out the door and saw Lisa come into the house carrying a red drink.

She took the lid off the cup and appeared to drink the drink through her index finger.

"Did you see that? She drinks through her finger!" Penelope cried.

"I'd hate to see where it comes out" said Gerard.

At school the next day, everyone was applauding for Shauna as she walked by. 

"Shauna, they're applauding for you!" said Dina.

"I haven't seen this many smiling faces in this school since that health class book mix-up" said Newton.

Dudley and Ms Dulude stomped over to Shauna with angry looks on their faces.

"Shauna Hawkins, you are in big trouble, young lady!" said Ms Dulude.

"You just ruined the reputation of Giddy-up Galveston" said Dudley.

"What are you talking about?" said Shauna.

"Your big scoop just proved untrue. The meat in the cafeteria, while disgusting, is in fact cow. Not horse" said Dudley.

"But I found a receipt in the garbage. What else do you want?" said Shauna.

"Uh... lab reports, witnesses, anything that resembles actual journalism! Principal Rodriguez is furious! He took away my bus pass!" Ms Dulude sobbed.

"Miss Shauna, I'm afraid I have to fire you from Giddy-up Galveston" said Dudley.

"But you can't! I'm a rising star in the infotainment universe" said Shauna.

"If Shauna is kicked off the show, so am I" said Dina.

"Thanks, Dina, but there's no reason we should both be fired" said Shauna.

"Okey-doke" said Dina casually.
