"Mommy?"
"Daddy?"
I suddenly heard a ear-piercing scream. "Mommy, Daddy, I'm scared!"
I ran around the corner with my locket necklace in my hand to see my Dad's limp body on the floor and my Mom's throat at the vampire's mouth. He then pierced her skin and I heard that scream again; but this time it was coming from me.
"Nooo!" I screamed as the man took my mother's life. After he was done with his pleasures he dropped my mother on the ground and started to stalk towards me.
I turned to run in fear, but tripped and ended up falling. "Please," I whispered, putting a arm up for defense. "Don't hurt me."
He was arms length away from me when suddenly something or someone short was behind the man. The short one behind the man quickly snapped its neck, watching his body fall to the floor.
I dropped my arm and looked at the person in front of me. It was a boy my age covered in blood. His eyes were completely red, his face covered in anger. When he saw me, his eyes softened and changed to a silvery gray. I started to hyperventilate, but I heard him whisper, "I won't hurt you."
That was the last thing I saw before darkness took over me...
