"Hanako-san, Hanako-san, are you there?" He knocked.
A chill went down Denji's spine as he uttered that. He wasn't really expecting a real ghost, however, it would be freaky if it did work.
"Yeeeeess?"
Something cold grasped his shoulder!
In an instant he turned to face whoever--or whatever-- it was.
No way, a girl?!
She started to giggle back at him at the sight of his face. Long pink hair, jumper skirt, black hat, red eyes... Wasn't her.
"Who even are you?"
She became a lot more serious, stopping her laughing pretty abruptly.
"Shouldn't you know? You were knocking.."
Was he supposed to know this random girl's name?
"Nevermind that! What's your wish?" She was back to cheery as ever.
His wish? She wasn't actually Hanako-san, was she?
The girl started to wave in his face, causing him to snap out of.
"You still didn't tell me your name, you know," He immediately became defensive. "I won't talk until you say it!"
"Hm, whatever." She turned around.
What?? She'd give up just like that? But now he wanted to see what was up.
"Okay, okay. I'm Denji." He opened up first in hopes it'd get her to speak up too.
Something like a second passed by before she responded.
"Good! Didja finally start to believe in my power?"
Not convincing.
She must've picked up on his confusion, lifting her arm to him.
"If you still don't believe it, just try to touch it already!"
Denji paused. What would that prove?
He did what she asked anyway.
"You see?"
His hand went through her arm when he tried to touch her.
"[censored]!"
