Gabriela Sinaloa:

I stare at Aria as she talks about the wedding, she hasn't stopped talking about it for 24 hours now. We didn't close a eye or get any type of sleep at all. Because all we did was plan this damn wedding, well she's planning it not me.

"So white roses. Check. The venue is booked. Check. We have the dance floor and all the decorations ready. Yes I think we have everything planned out. Today I will go with Antonio to make sure everything is perfect for this weekend. " She walks up in down the office. I just sit on the sofa looking at my best friend like she is crazy.

"Aria it's only a wedding." I let my head fall back against the sofa letting out a deep sigh.

"it's not 'just a wedding' it's your wedding and it is your first wedding. And you're also my best friend so I will make this wedding the best one yet." She says smiling at me.

"Thank you Aria but you don't have to go through all this just for me. If it's to much please leave it I have no problem doing it on my own."

"Gabriela this is what I want to do. You have no idea how happy it will make me to see you getting married with the most beautiful venue yet." She takes a seat next to me. "I want you to have the wedding I never had. You know how my so called wedding was, it was shit."

"Oh I do remember. You didn't even have a proper wedding dress." I say smiling remembering the photos she showed me.

"Exactly. But even though my wedding was shitty I loved Ryle more than anything in this world. He said we didn't have to have a great big wedding. He was too excited, he was so impatient." She smiles looking up at the ceiling. "He said he would not wait 6 months just to plan a damn wedding. He just wanted to marry me, when he proposed we were in vegas jusg visiting every casino enjoying every moment but he only planned it because he wanted to propose and get married right away." She let's out a small laugh.

"Fuck I loved that man. I loved him because he made my life turn upside down. He was funny and made me laugh in a way I never thought I could. He was the person who showed me how to live the best life, he was the best thing in my life. And I knew he was part of this dangerous world, I knew he was dealing with terrible shit. But nothing could have change my mind about him. He had his secrets and I had mine, but we shared our secrets and even the darkest parts of him I loved. I loved him so much. I always will." A tear slip from her eyes. "I just miss him, he was the only person I had left in this fucked up world. But then the accident happened, he was shot. His injury was lethal and he didn't make it. I still remember that day the doctors told me I lost my husband. My world stopped. I felt numb completely."

She takes a deep breath. "Love eithers heals you. Or it kills you. But before I slipped away from this world you saved me." She smiles at me. I pull her to me and hug her.

"He will always love you Aria. You know he will."

I let her go and she has a small smile on her face. I know she still thinks about him almost every day I can see the way she zooms out somedays. They belonged together. What they had was real love. But fate took that away from them.

"Okay enough talk about me. Have you talked to your future husband yet?"

She changes the subject.

"No." I say rolling my eyes. "He irritates me ."

She looks at me with that weird look on her face again.

"Well. We have one more thing to take care of."

"And that is?"

"A wedding dress." She says standing from her seat. "And Mario's grandmother made a reservation for this evening. At the boutique shop. So I suggest you take a shower and eat something before we go."
