The rest of Saturday had gone by in a flash and Sunday even faster, and before Donnie knew it it was Monday. Donnie stood once again outside Baby's staring up at the sign. He took a deep breath and slowly walked through the door to start his very first shift. While the location wasn't open yet it was far more crowded than it was on Saturday during Donnie's orientation. The lobby was full of employees, most lined up at that time sheet William had shown Donnie previously. Donnie stood confused, not quite sure what he was going to do until he heard the voice of a man behind him.

"Hey, are you just gonna stand there or are you going to actually do something?" Donnie turned and found the source of the voice,  a man of a wider build standing behind him. The man wore a striped uniform like all the other's and notably had brown hair that was very neatly combed to the side. If it wasn't for the bitter scowl and dark rings under his eyes, you'd think he'd be your everyday man. But of course it wasn't that simple as Donnie came to find. "Huh?" Donnie looked back and forth. "Are you talking to me?" The man facepalmed and his expression noticeably began to resemble one of irritation. "Who the hell do you think I'm talkin' to?! The queen of England?! Yes I'm talking to you!" The man walked up to Donnie and looked him up and down before crossing his arms. "Oh, I take it you're that new kid the boss just hired." Before Donnie could say a word the man pulled out a notepad from his pocket and began to flip through it for a few seconds before stopping on about the tenth page. "Donovan Hardbrook right?" the man asked in an inquisitive tone. Donnie nodded quickly. "Yeah that's me." The man offered Donnie a small glance before speaking once again. "Okay kid well you're on technical duties, clock in and I'll call your adviser over." The man went to leave but turned back for a second. "Name's Mark by the way. And I'm the manager here." Mark pointed at Donnie and narrowed his eyes. "Don't even think about messing around, understand? And if you do as much as blink the wrong way when I speak to you, your ass will be out that door first thing next morning."And with that Mark walked off to heckle some of the other employees.

While Donnie's introduction to these people thus far wasn't the best, he sure as hell wasn't going to let one asshole boss influence what he thought of this place. With that thought in mind Donnie got in line for the time card and waited patiently for his turn. Eventually he got to the front of the line and grabbed the pen hanging from the sheet and signed his name, time he came in, and what department he's working in. After signing in he stepped off to the side and leaned against the wall next to the air room waiting for the adviser that Mark had mentioned.

Various employees passed by while talking and making their way to all the various stations and areas. One by one all attractions kicked on and soon the restaurant's music kicked on as well over the speakers perched in the corners of the rooms. A few more minutes went by and right before Donnie was considering leaving to go ask Mark what the deal was, he heard high heels clicking against the tile floor. Donnie looked up and spotted a tall and slender woman making her way towards Donnie, a pen in one hand and a clipboard in the other. She stopped right in front of Donnie and peered down at him. "Hardbrook I assume, yes?" Her voice was monotone but simultaneously powerful and commanding at the same time. Judging by the pristine suit and skirt, crystal clear glasses, and neatly pulled back bun she wore, she was most definitely the adviser he was told about. But now that Donnie really thought about it, he was actually surprised at how clean and well dressed the adviser of the maintenance department was. "Yeah, that's me." Donnie replied quickly. The woman looked down at her clipboard and began to speak once more. "Very good, it appears today we have a full animatronic maintenance issue to address so this will be a perfect introduction to your new job." She turned and began to walk towards the main hall. "Right this way. Please don't dawdle either, we have a lot of work today and I would prefer that we stay on schedule." Donnie speed walked a little in order to keep up with the fast moving woman. The woman walked Donnie into the main show hall and eventually on the stage where she now stood in the center. Donnie hopped onto the stage and noticed that they were both standing in the center of the circular outline. "Please stay within the circle and do not move for the entirety of our descent." The woman warned. She then turned to look at a camera in the corner of the room and spoke a bit louder. "Bring it down Rico!" as if on cue the floor jolted a little and began to move downwards. Well, at least the inner circle of the larger stage down. Farther and farther down the platform moved as the light around them grew scarce. Donnie looked up and saw the open hole above them shut plunging them both into darkness.
