Read the first one if you haven't
As everyone gathered in the cabin all eyes were set on Will. His sleeve rolled up and shirt collar stretched out to show the veins. Mike couldn't help but blush at the fact he could see parts of Will's chest. But he shouldn't blush at that.
"So let me get this straight- you were just walking around and you got mad, and this whole thing has been popping up every time you were mad, but now it isn't going away plus you have some secret powers?" Lucas said, still very confused.
"Pretty much..." Will muttered.
He was still scratching at his neck.
"It's something to do with the mind flayer at least? Since the neck thingy" Dustin added.
"But how do we know Will is still a spy?" Steve added.
"Because he would act so very differently then!" Mike said.
Why was he defending Will?
"Yeah but this Vecna dude could just be a good actor!" Steve's tone was louder.
And then the arguing began. Will and El being the only quiet ones. El was sat by Will's side rubbing his back. But with all the arguing things just seems to get worse. El could see the balcony liquid spreading father up into Will's face.
"Guys! Shut up!" El said.
Lucas and Dustin stopped to look at Will. And their word stopped as they saw it too. But Mike and Steve kept arguing. Nancy and Robin shutting up as well.
"Guys I think you should stop!" Nancy grabbed her little brother's arm. Mike was almost in rage.
"SHUT UP!" Will shouted as books flew off their shelves. Mike and Steve instantly shocked. Everything being immensely quiet.
"See! He could be a spy!" Steve started again.
"Steve seriously shove it down!" Robin hushed.
"I'm just saying-"
A book flew up into the air and right into Steve's face. Will's nose was bleeding violently at this point. El being afraid of her own brother. And the original party just looked at him. Will's eyes fluttered open and shut as he paced out.
"Shit! Will!" Mike was the first to grab Will who fell forward towards the floor. Mike watched as the veins left Will's neck and face. Tracing back into him. Almost like they were going back into his heart.
"Maybe we should see if he's just always veiny under his shirt?" Robin suggested.
Lucas stepped up to Will as Mike held him up. He unbuttoned his shirt only a bit but it was enough for Mike to feel nervous.
What was this? He was supposed to like El? Even if she broke up with him.
"No... it's all gone?"
The door burst open as Jonathan flew in. He had been there a few minutes earlier and listened to the story but left for something important. The gang thought it was something stupid but Jonathan had found the reasoning.
"Will was a part of Hawkins lab..." He breathed out. Panting as he walked in.
"What?!" Everyone yelled in unison.
"Lonnie... that bastard took him there in secret every month..."
Will woke up in his bed in the cabin. He stared down at his arms. They were normal again? The last thing he remembered was hitting Steve in the face with a book.
"So, Lonnie took him there once a month but they gave Will some pill at the end of their deal that made him forget it, but all the papers are here"
It was Jonathan. He was talking outside the door. Will sat up in his bed as he realised his shirt was unbuttoned.
Who had done that?
Will quickly buttoned it up again as he heard footsteps coming towards his room. The door opened to reveal Mike walking in and closing it behind him. He seemed overwhelmed. And stupid as he didn't notice Will.
"Mike?"
Mike's eyes looked at him. Almost scared.
"I-I'm sorry about the... playground thing I was just mad..."
"Ye-yeah, I'm s-s-sorry too..."
Was he nervous? Why was he nervous?
"Will, can I tell you something? Something important..."
"Yeah, s-sure?"
Mike took a deep breath.
"Ever since El broke up with me I've been catching feelings for someone else..."
"El broke up with-"
"I don't care about that right now... can I just try something before you hate me forever and ever?"
"Sure?
Will was still confused by everything. But as Mike stepped closer to him. And leaned down towards him, grabbing his face he realized what Mike was doing.
Mike kissed Will softly. He was surprised when Will kissed him back. It felt nice... Will's soft lips pressed up against his. He wanted... more.
As Mike bit down on Will's lower lip Will opened up as Mike filled his mouth. Will had been waiting for this moment for forever now. He had always wanted to kiss Mike. And now it seemed like the weirdest timing to do it but he felt at ease.
"Are you two done, we have a Lonnie to beat up?" Robin stepped in with a bat in hand.
Both boys pulled back in embarrassment. Mike almost clinging to the wall.
"No worry's kiddos, I've been shipping you two since the beginning and to know that I was right just makes me more confident" she threw a smaller bat to Mike as she dragged them both out and into the car.
Mike taking Will's hand, in fear of losing him to the mind flayer again. He needed Will more than ever now
