The room is dark and cold. The lights do work but she never turns them on. Madotsuki, a young shut in, spends her time doing two things. Playing her favorite game, Nasu, and sleeping. Although it may seem bland, sleeping is exciting for her. Dreams. Why leave your apartment when you can explore somewhere only you can reach. Each time she wakes up she goes to her desk, rubs her eyes, and writes.
"I met someone," she writes one day.
"He seems nice."
She continues by drawing a man in a turtleneck with round sunglasses.
Madotsuki looks at the clock on her desk.
3:00AM
This means nothing to her. It's not like she has anything to do.
Her stomach rumbles.
Closing her journal, she goes to scavenge for something to eat.
