𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐲

        ɴᴏᴜɴ

         𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐠𝐚𝐦𝐲 𝐢𝐧 𝐰𝐡𝐢𝐜𝐡 𝐚 𝐰𝐨𝐦𝐚𝐧 𝐭𝐚𝐤𝐞𝐬 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐡𝐮𝐬𝐛𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐬 𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐬𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐭𝐢𝐦𝐞. 𝐏𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐫𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐜𝐨𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐬𝐭𝐞𝐝 𝐰𝐢𝐭𝐡 𝐩𝐨𝐥𝐲𝐠𝐲𝐧𝐲, 𝐢𝐧𝐯𝐨𝐥𝐯𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐨𝐧𝐞 𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐭𝐰𝐨 𝐨𝐫 𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐞 𝐟𝐞𝐦𝐚𝐥𝐞

"You do know that eventually, you'll have to choose one of them, right?"

"Why is everyone trying to make me choose one? What if I choose neither of them and focus on myself," she shrugs her shoulders.

Her friend gave her a look knowing that was not something she really wanted to do.

"Are you doing that because you want to or to protect the both of them from heartbreak?"

Once she didn't respond, her friend knew exactly what was on her mind.

"Look, you need to start putting yourself first; you have a lot on your plate right now. Both are grown men who can handle heartbreak and understand why you chose the other person. Stop putting others before yourself and start caring about your happiness. All this back and forth between the two of them will do nothing but create unnecessary stress."

It has paid off though; she graduated high school, college, and grad school early and is now in her dream career at the age of twenty one.
