35 - Announcements🔞

- Everybody, I have an announcement. - Chan finally said the sentence all of us had been craving to hear.

We were all sat at the table, Hyunwoo as well, eating and chatting. They had been called with extreme urgency, meaning that something important had happened.

We shifted in our seats, highly impatient as Chan edged us. Even though I already knew everything, I was nervous and curious about what the rest of the guys would have reacted to the news, especially to that of Alice being my best friend.

- I... - The oldest stated, holding back a smile before dropping the bomb. - I have a girlfriend. -

He exhaled relieved, a happy giggle leaving his smiling mouth.

- Are you serious? - Seungmin asked, eyeing his hyung up and down, unsure on whether he was joking or not.

- I am dead serious. - Chan's smile grew wider, everybody finally gasping and applauding cheerfully.

- Who is it?! - Hyunjin curiously asked, wiggling his eyebrows.

- She's from Europe. - Everybody obviously turned towards me, but I was too intent on admiring how lost Chan's eyes were when he talked about Alice.

It was as if he were Love itself and had hearts instead of eyes. He was head over heels for her.

- Like Angèle? - Jeongin asked and Chan nodded, my mind snapping back as soon as it heard it's own name being called.

- About that... - Everybody tilted their head in curiosity, waiting for whatever was coming. I'm quite sure nobody was expecting what he said. - She's her best friend. - He chuckled, pointing at me with a movement of his head.

All mouths dropped open.

- I don't believe you hyung, you are lying. - Seungmin shook his head, but nevertheless remaining seated waiting for more.

All eyes turned to me, waiting for some sort of confirmation on whether Chan was being honest with them.

I simply nodded while smiling, everybody finally applauding and standing up to congratulate Chan, exchanging hugs or words of support.

After a few minutes of teasing and happy chatting, everybody sat back down, enjoying the remaining of the dinner while bombarding their leader with questions about her and her life.

A phone was going around the table with Alice's Instagram account open, everybody sharing sounds of approval.

- Oh my God, your kid is gonna have curly hair! - Jeongin smiled happily, his eyes disappearing behind his cute cheeks. - Look at her hair! It's so beautiful! -

He wasn't wrong. Alice had wonderful curly brown hair and a mesmerizing smile just like Chan. Their kid would have indeed been handsome.

Chan blushed at the comment, muttering under his breath something along the lines of "it's a bit too early for that".

Before we could all stand to tidy up the mess of the kitchen and move to the living room to do some kind of game, Minho spoke.

- I have an announcement as well. - This time, everybody's faces went pale, already knowing what meaning that sentence had taken at that point.

I turned to Jisung to see his reaction. He was just as surprised.

- I am going out with Kim Jungwoo. - He smiled, quite entertained with everybody's reaction.

Everybody's mouths dropped even more, if possible.

- No. Fucking. Way. - Felix whispered.
