It was late, so late. George was running.
After Quackity left the room that morning George laid back down for what he thought had been a couple of seconds but when he woke up and realised that it had actually been more than ten minutes he freaked out.
He still needed to pack his bag and finish putting on his uniform. As fast as he could he shoved his books in his backpack and put his clothes on, not even minding checking himself in the mirror before leaving.
So, now he was running and he was in the middle of the path that led to the actual school bulking when the bell rang.
"Shit, shit, SHIT"
History was the first class. He hated History but that's why he needed to be present in class.
"Where is George?" Dream whispered to Quackity, who decided to sit next to him that day. The bell had rung already fifteen minutes before, and there was no George in sight.
He shrugged "I don't know, he was awake when I left-"
Quackity couldn't even finish his sentence when the class door burst open.
"Mr. Davidson" the History teacher called, "I thought we wouldn't see you today"
Dream looked at George panting in the doorway.
He moved to the seat in front of him, his hair was a mess and his tie was an undefined shape.
At break time George rushed to the bathroom, and Dream for some reason sneaked up behind him.
When he entered the restroom George was already washing his face to remove a bit of the sweat he got from running.
"Do you need help?" Dream asked pointings at George's tie.
"Yeah, I don't know why but I'm.nit able to knot it right now.."
Dream crouched down, their height difference was funny to him sometimes. He could feel George's breath moving slightly in his hair.
George was the perfect height, Dream found himself wondering if he would fit perfectly if he...What was he thinking about?!
His thoughts were interrupted by George himself.
"Could we, maybe, sit alone later in the library...I really need you to explain to me what I missed and didn't get in History"
"Of course, you don't even have to ask."
They stared at each other for a bit, until the bell at the end of the break rang, forcing them to go back to class.

After lunch they did as planned, when they got to the library they explained to the boys their plans and left them alone, not before Sapnap winked at Dream. Which he found very stupid, just because he liked Karl (Sapnap hadn't told him but it was quite obvious) didn't mean that he liked one of his best friends' too, he didn't even like boys...at least he thought so.

"I like your rings" they were in the middle of their study session when George spoke.
"Uh, what?"
"You rings, they make your hand look cool"
"So you like my hands." Dream grinned.
"That's not what I said," George replied with a plain face.
Dream giggled going back to his book.
That was their early afternoon. George tried to understand anything between dates and names, occasionally asking a question.
