Izaya's POV
I of course couldn't let Shizuo find out...
Smiling, I ignored Shinra's attempts to tell me to hide or make me stay in that room, following him out.
"Hi, Shizu-chan ~" I smiled, laughing at the glares from the two other men in the room.
Shizuo's eyes widened slightly. Why is it so awkward since that night?! Uggg.
Stop it, emotions!
"Cat got your tongue~?" I laughed as Shizuo's face twisted into that familiar angry look. Shinra's turns to horror.
Shizuo oh - so - familiarly lifted me up, holding me by the fro t of my shirt.
"SHIZUO, STOP! IZAYA'S IN NO CONDITION TO FIGHT! "
"And I care why?" Shizuo asked, anger clouding his face, shaking me. Shinra let out a gasp at the sight.
"STOP! IT'S NOT SAFE! "
"And?"
"YOU COULD HURT MORE THAN JUST IZAYA!"
Shinra's ruining it! Just shut up!
"DON'T SAY ANOTHER WORD, SHINRA!" I yelled.
Shinra seems to give up, walking out with a defeated look on his face. Though I knew I'd get Hell for it later.
I jescaped Shizuo's grasp, jumping around the room freely, laughing like my old self, not caring about the organism growing inside of me, almost forgetting about it.
Almost.
Halfway through our little chase, that pain came back. I grabbed my stomach, calling out as I collapsed.
"Oi, Izaya, what's wrong?" Shizuo looked at me suspicioisly, as if at any moment I'd get up and continue. Sounds like me.
Shizuo came closer, seeing tears that were in my eyes, "SHINRA! "
Shinra walked into the room, looking as if he'd expected this.
"Can I tell him now?"
"No!" I growled, "Don't say anything!" Though I knew the question was retorical.
"Come, Shizuo, and I'll tell you the news..."
I followed the two other men into Shinra's living room, though not without stopping in the kitchen, cause I was hungry.
I glared on the couch, dipping my Ring Pop in pickle juice as I listened to Shinra. [A/N I put in the food because Ring Pops and pickle juice taste pretty good together, to me anyway, but when I was eating some with company over, people thought that I was pregnant and just had 'strange cravings']
Before he even spoke he was taking notes.
"Whatcha writing~?" My emotions changed quickly as I peek over the doctor's shoulder.
Strange eating habits
"I do not!" I crossed my arms, watching him also write mood swings.
"I'm just writing the side effects! And no worries, these are both rather usual symptoms of pregnancy "
Shizuo looked confused, I forgot about him!
"Pregnancy? What the Hell are you talkkng about?"
"Ahem... well, Shizuo," Shinra pushed his glasses up, handing Shizuo what seems to be my test results, "Izaya is pregnant... and due to the fact he recently lost his virginity, and didn't do anything sexual afterwords, the only logical thing is to say... you're the father. .."
Shizuo just sat there.
