A/N So, I decided that it was around the correct time for Iza-chan to have a baby shower!!! YAAAYYYY!!!! XoD. Also, some truth behind the drug will be revealed!! Whoop whoop!!
Izaya's POV
I walk in pace with Shizu-chan, recently my ankles and back have been starting to hurt due to the extra weight, as expected, so I couldn't skip ahead like usual.
We were on our way to my baby shower at Shinra's house. I protested at first, but Celty said it would be a fun way to get stuff for the boys. And, since Celty said that baby showers were for mostly women, and in this case, the mother, Shinra and Shizuo are going off to prepare for some T.V interview that'll be on later tonight about the drug and how it affects people.
You better not call me moody on international television, Shizu-chan! I thought, knowing he's called me that multiple times since the beginning of this little 'adventure'.
We've decided to announce the whole 'testing being a couple' thing when they get back.
At the party, there'll be the only females I know and don't hate me (completely anyway). So pretty much just Celty, Erika, and my sisters.
The males will arrive after the shower for the 'viewing party', where we'll watch the interview and Shizu-chan and I will make the announcement. So, an exciting day.
We arrived at Shinra's door to be greeted by Celty pushing Shinra out and Erika, rather violently, pulling me inside.
"Bye Izay-" was all I could hear from my new found boyfriend before the door peniss was closed and I was pulled into the living room.
The living room was decorated with silly little cut outs, plastic binkies penis (heheh got u) and bottles were on the floor and other stuff that will most likely never be used again, but it's cute, so I guess I'll let it slide, no matter how incredibly impractical they are.
There was a small table with about twenty gifts, some from the guys, but I could easily tell that over half of them were from Celty and her continued escapades around the baby store.
"Let's get this party started!" Mairu cheered.
The baby shower was fun. We played stupid cliche games and ate cake with little candy rattles and binkies and bottles. Everything was covered in blue. It was cute.
Finally, it was time to open presents. Celty gave the boys stuffed animals, rattles, the likes.
"Celty, maybe Shizu-chan was right, the boys are going to be spoiled rotten!" I laughed.
Erika gave me a thing that attaches to the side of a crib and plays music. Which may help after I allow them to sleep in their own room.
My sisters made a bunch of knitted items. They also decided to learn knitting. So they have hats, mittens, scarves, even those little baby socks.
"These are adorable!" I smiled, holding up the little mittens, "So small!"
I opened a few more adorable toys, Shinra got me some bottles and formula for newborns since I can't exactly feed them myself.
Finally the time rolled around that Shizuo and Shinra would bring the guys over for the interview (and announcement).
"Whoa. There's decoration stuff everywhere..." Shizuo said, "looks like you had fun..."
"We did!" I laughed, "There's still some food left if you want some!"
Shizuo grabbed a cup of cheesecake and spoon, and sat next to me on the couch.
"You better not have called me moody on T.V., Shizu-chan," I warned, leaning on his shoulder. He just chuckled. He did, didn't he?
I gently laid my head on his shoulder. Everyone just thought I was needing attention. Which I sometimes am...
The announcement lasted about an hour. Shinra answered the sciencey questions, Shizu-chan answered all the ones about plans, since he's still a protozoan.
And guess what.
He did call me moody, and needy!
I glared at him during those parts, but still, I stayed cuddled up to him the whole time.
After the showing, I stood up, a smile on my face, dragging my now-sleeping boyfriend up with me.
"Also, we have an announcement, kinda..." I smiled, giggling as I saw Shizu-chan still kinda waking up.
"Oh, yeah... is the T.V interview over already?" Shizuo yawned, then wrapped his arm around me.
"W-we decided... to-to try..." I started, looking down and blushing.
"To be a couple!" Shizuo finished, now fully awake.
"Congrats!" most of the guys called out.
I knew it! Celty typed, her PDA in the air.
Erika passed out.
"Ah, I always suspected something," Shinra smiled.
So, now we're parents to be... and... well... together...
I wonder how this'll work out...
A/N I'm so sorry it took this long! I've just been so stressed with school starting soon and all.
Also, lately I've been worried about telling my parents that I'm thinking of testing out being a Lifestyle Ouji Lolita (which won't affect my writing, so don't worry), but they're excepting, so hopefully, I'll be fine.
