A/N So, I would've updated sooner, but things in my house are pretty hectic, I've recently gotten a baby mini pig (I say house pig) and during the weekend we run errands, and during week days my parents work, so usually I'm taking care of him with my sister (mostly me), so I don't have much freetime! I'll try to be quicker with next chapter, kay?
Izaya's POV
I woke up to an alarm clock. I'm going to break that damn thing!
I looked around to see that I was in my own room, somehow able to sleep alone all night. Surprising.
I yawned, walking out of my room to see if Shizuo was up at, I looked at my phone (which I instinctively grabbed when I got up), 6 in the morning, and to yell at him for setting an alarm so early.
Aaaand Celty's in my living room again... wonder what she wants this time...
When I was seen, Celty tilted her helmet up and showed her PDA to me, the message saying 'Morning, Sleeping Beauty'
I glared. "Why am I awake so early?!"
"Because, Izaya, we're starting our shopping today," Shizuo smiled, obviously amused.
"But not this early!" I growled. The only answer I got was a smile from Shizuo and seemingly amused Celty.
"Well, we have to get two of everything! May as well start early," Shizuo replied, handing me a bowl of scrambled eggs, "just so you can eat, the boys are probably hungry." I blushed at his comment, accepting the food.
You need to stop being all emotional, Izaya, I scolded myself, he's only being nice to you because you're pregnant!
Uggg! I hate emotions!
~-~-Timeskip: At a baby store~-~-
I walked through the aisle, Shizuo was pushing the cart and Celty was running around frantically, looking at all the toys and beds and such.
Oh my gosh, guys! Look, isn't this bear the cutest!? She handed me a yellow bear with little fake multicolored patches on it.
"Yes, it is kinda cute..." I smiled, playing with the bear's arms.
It comes in yellow, red, blue, pink, and brown! She replied.
"I'll take a yellow and blue one," I smiled, "I want the kids' rooms to look nice, and that includes things that sort of match."
Shizuo looked both happy and amused at my statement. "So everything has to match?"
"No, not everything, though the bedding totally does!"
So, blue and yellow bedding? Got it! Celty typed before running off to the depths of the store.
I laughed, watching her look excitedly around the store.
"So, wanna go look at strollers and such?" Shizuo asked, "Celty seems to have the bedding and toys more than covered. In fact, I'm kinda scared the boys'll be spoiled," he laughed.
I nodded, walking with him, "Of course they'll be a little spoiled, they are my children, Shizu-chan!~" I declared, smirking.
As we walked into the stroller section, a worker walked up to us.
"I-I was sent over to assist you..." A shy one, I see,"A-aren't you the guys on T-T.V last week?" She asked. (Yes, we were shopping outside of Ikebukuro and Shinjuku)
We nodded. "Yes, we are!" I smirked.
"S-so, you'll need a double stroller.. f-for twins, right?" She asked, us nodding again.
"P-please, follow me..." She led us to an aisle full of double strollers.
"Wow..." I said in awe, looking at the many styles and designs.
"D-do you have any preferences?"she asked.
"Yes, any that are strong built, at least one of 'em's got their daddy's strength!" Shizuo looked at me with slightly wide eyes, and the store person only half understood.
"Ah, w-well, um," she led us to a cool looking model, "these come in black, brown, white, and red..."
I inspected the display stroller, pushing down on it slightly.
"Hmm..." I mumbled, focusing on the stroller, "Seems okay, I mean, they may be strong, but they will be babies..."
"Well, you may take your t-time choosing. F-feel free to ask me or any of o-our workers if you need a-anything." She smiled before walking away.
~-~-~Timeskip: Home, a bit later-~-~-
I groaned, plopping myself on the couch. We just finished getting all of the toys and the boxes for the cribs in the nursery we have to set up tomorrow. We still have to pick up the stroller tomorrow because they were out of black.
"Uggg, I'm dyyyiiingg!" I groaned, setting my feet on the coffee table, they started hurting two hours ago!
"If you're tired, go to bed, it's not good to decorate a nursery tired anyway," Shizuo remarked, rolling his eyes.
I nodded, getting up tiredly. I walked over to him, giving him a hug.
"Goodnight, Shizu-chan," I quickly pecked his lips, " Love you..."
I yawned, walking into my room and falling backwards onto my bed.
I was just about to drift to sleep when my eyes widened, wait...
What the Hell did I just do!?
