Siblings have an unbreakable bond. Despite the bickering that might occur, the supernatural twins would die for each other, no questions asked. Before meeting one another, both siblings had felt as if something was missing in their lives, as if their identities weren't complete.
Having not spent much time with her brother in a while, Madeline smiled as she saw her brother at the front door. He wore the same grin, just as excited, if not more. "Ew, who invited you?" she complained jokingly. Pietro rolled his eyes.
"Oh, shut up, you idiot. You missed me." Pietro said, making her lips curve into a grin.
She mumbled, "I suppose." Even with her comment, she wrapped her arms around him, appreciating his presence. Forgetting about her heightened strength, Madeline apologized when he groaned in pain, reminding her he wasn't immortal. She backed away. "Sorry, sorry!"
"I'll forgive you if you have any food. Living with Jeremy and surviving off just pizza has been brutal." Pietro said as he entered and shut the door.
"See, I told you to visit and let me fucking feed you real food but noooo!" Madeline said, shaking her head as she led them to the kitchen. "You wanted to prove you didn't need my cooking."
"Sestra, what can I say?" Pietro shrugged. "I do stupid things sometimes."
"You think?" Madeline snorted. Reverting her face to seriousness, she said, "I'll make you anything you'd like, but you have to admit that I was right. I wanna hear those precious words."
"Madeline, come on." Pietro chuckled.
"No food then." Madeline teased.
Shaking his head, Pietro sighed. "You were right, Madeline." He could sense her eyes glinting in satisfaction.
Madeline smiled proudly. "You may be older, but I'm wiser."
"Nerd." Pietro insulted.
Maddie replied, "Dumbass. What's 12 times 12?"
"I don't do math. I didn't learn the times tables." Pietro claimed, not even trying to figure it out.
Madeline laughed. "God, I've missed you."
Pietro joked, "The feeling isn't mutual."

Thrilled to go to the dance Caroline had talked so much about, Madeline skimmed through her closet, desperate to find a decent dress. Pietro was napping in the living room after receiving a feast. Despite how much he ate, his powers granted him a quick metabolism. Before Madeline was a vampire, she envied his ability.
Hearing familiar footsteps enter their room, Madeline smiled. "You're back."
Sliding his hands around her hips, Stefan pressed a kiss on her neck. "Look what I got."
She glanced at his hand, her grin widening at the sight of a bag filled with her favorite pastries. "You did not."
Stefan beamed at the excitement in her tone. "I did." He was resting his chin on her shoulder, reviewing the dresses she was just looking at. He was sure she would look good in every single one of them. There was no doubt in his mind. "It's been a while since we've had them."
