After a disease took over a village in North-America, your only hope of survival was to run, and run far. Already before the disease began to spread, the village was suffering. There was little food, cold all year around and a population to big for it’s own good. Unlike the neighberhood city, which was bathing in money. Of course all other cities in the area around was disgusted by us, and couldn’t care less that the whole city was suffering.
But at least we learned what to do in these situations, unlike them. We learned to survive. To care for eachother. To share the little food we had. We were one big family, more or less. That was of course before the disease started spreading.
Without a second thought Alexa took the remains of her family, got her few belongings and took off to the woods. Determination to not give up was in her head at all times. But what happens when it gets to hard to protect everybody she loves. And what will she do when she meets a new, myesterious boy from the rich neighberhood city?
